Monday

Start the week with clean-eating at Susan Feniger's STREET. Get a six-course all vegetarian (vegan by request) tasting menu for $35. Tonight includes Stone beer-battered onion rings; tater tots; mixed green lettuces with thyme vinaigrette; veggie meatballs and spaghetti; sautéed spinach with garlic shoots. Tuesday

Before the foie gras ban takes effect (July 1), Petrossian is featuring a special five-course menu through all month. What you taste: fruit gazpacho with armagnac-poached foie gras and pickled beets; asparagus salad with black summer truffles, little gem lettuces, and foie gras ravioli; seared foie with cherries and brioche crisp; seared flat iron steak with foie; and even foie gras ice cream. $100 per person; available daily (321 N. Wednesday

Michael McCarty and chef John-Carlos Kuramoto host a monthly Market Meet Up at Michael's in Santa Monica. The two lead a tour of the weekly farmers' market, introducing you to their favorite farmers and seasonal ingredients, and then create a meal back at the restaurant. Dishes this week will focus on Fitzgerald Farms stone fruit. $75 per person includes tour, tasting and wine pairings. 8:30-11:30 a.m. Call 310-451-0843 to reserve a spot (1147 3rd St.).

Thursday

Chef Anne Conness and Golden Road Brewing team up for a beer-pairing dinner at Tin Roof Bistro in Manhattan Beach. Five courses -- dishes like white shrimp ceviche, brussel sprouts with crispy duck, and English steak and ale pie -- each come with their own brew, including limited releases like Get Up Off That Brown and Hudson Rye Porter. The brewery's co-founder, Meg Hill, will be on hand to talk shop about the LA brewery. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. (3500 N Sepulveda Blvd.; 310-393-0900).

Friday

Tonight M Café de Chaya celebrates seven years of macrobiotic goodness with special $7 menu items like the macro burger, chopped salad and tofu teriyaki rice bowl. The menu items are available after 7 p.m. at both the Melrose and Beverly Hills locations (7119 Melrose Ave. and 9433 Brighton Way).

Saturday

Nic's in Beverly Hills is throwing a Poolside benefit for the LA Food Bank. The entire restaurant has a pool theme, complete with cabana boys and girls, fluffy towels, chaise lounges and cool pool-scene art. Nibble on dishes like dill-pickle marinated fried chicken, lobster beignets, and ahi tuna lettuce cups, and sip vodka in the VODBOX. Entertainment includes KCRW's DJ Mario Cotto and a swimsuit fashion show in the parking lot. Tickets are $150. 8 p.m.-midnight (435 N. Canon Dr.; 310-550-5707).

Sunday

Some of LA's top bartenders join forces at Sadie for Art Beyond the Glass, a night of art, music, live performances and cocktails to benefit Inner-City Arts. Among the bardender-artists: Tasting Kitchen's Justin Pike (live chalk drawings), Areal's Mia Sarazen (photographs), and the Writer's Room's Joshua Lucas (magician). 3-8 p.m. Tickets are $40 presale, or $50 at the door (1638 N. Las Palmas, Hollywood).
