Golden Globes 2012 Gifting Suites: a round-up

In honor of the annual Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, several gifting suites popped up all over town, giving celebs the opportunity to check out some new products and take home plenty of goodies.

In honor of the annual Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, several gifting suites popped up all over town, giving celebs the opportunity to check out some new products and take home plenty of goodies.

Suites -- or lounges as they are sometimes known -- varied in themes. Some were more beauty-centric, offering manicures and blow-outs. Others were geared towards specific celebrities, like parents and their children. Others were a mix of both. Most were tied to charities with donations taken at the door.

While it's impossible to attend all of them as most occurred on Friday and Saturday before the Globes, below is a sampling:

The Secret Room Events presents the 2012 Golden Globes Style Lounge at the SLS Hotel:

Items included: Bella Luca handbags, Skincare by Dermaesthetics and Spa De Soleil; powdered dietary supplements from Collagen M.D. with anti-aging ingredients such as collagen and hyaluronic acid; Vitamints -- mints and vitamins combined for fresh breath and nutrients; chia seeds, oil and to-go packets from Australian-based The Chia Co.

For the little ones, there were baby carriers from Baby Hawk, and NSF certified bath products from Dolphin Organics. Preschool channel Sprout handed out plush toys of their signature character, Chica the chicken puppet and kid-friendly digital cameras in a Chica carrying case. Four-legged furry ones received bath products from I (Heart) Pet Head including portable paw cleaners, micro fiber towels and shampoo.

Celebs left with a goodie bag filled with such products as candles by Sydney Candle Co.; skincare travel kits from Hydra Mar, Naturally Lindy and Kelly Teegarden Organics; agave sweetener from Nectave Organics, mobile device stands from The Wedge, and more all stuffed in to a Cherry Blooms bag-on-wheels (as seen on actress Kim Whitley, above) for easy roll-out.

GBK Golden Globe Celebrity Gift Lounge at L'Ermitage Beverly Hills:

Clothing and accessories included: Robert Graham eclectic men's and women's clothing was on hand with various sport shirts, leather jackets and bowties. The brand also debuted its tuxedos and made-to-measure suiting; TC Intimates shape wear handed out an array of under garments including their latest sexy mesh & lace line; recycled hand-sewn eclectic women's shirts and scarves from G Wear with signature design appliqués; custom-made hand-stamped necklaces from Q Handmade.

Comphy Co. was handling out luxury linens from their Comphy at Home collection; Soap nuts from Earth's Berries, taken from the soap berry tree and used as a chemical-free alternative to laundry soap; Little Black Dress Vodka in such flavors as blueberry pomegranate and black cherry vanilla and pineapple honey.

Select nominees and presenters received round trip tickets for two to Fiji to stay and their choice of one of three different resorts including Yasawa Island, Vomo Fiji Island or Tadrai Fiji Island.

Guests also received gift certificates for a 5Star Responder, a GPS enabled device that connects you with an agents in an unsafe or uncertain situation. Each certificate also comes with six months of free service.

The Artisan Group, an art promotions group that represents various different artisans, handed out goodie bags filled with a sampling of handcrafted products including Lapis Beach knitted bracelets; Swirly Garden hand-painted glassware, note cards from The Beez Kneez Designs; candles by Villa Lusso; soap by Piccolo Paradiso; rings by Expression Rings of Hope; body butter from Cherry Tree Soaps; journals by Simply Paperie and more.

From baby strollers to baby onesies, this suite dealt exclusively with items geared towards families with children.

Highlights included: Delivery room scrubs for expectant fathers by DaddyScrubs. The company also carries plenty of other gear emblazoned with their "I'm the Daddy" logo including hoodies, hats, mugs, totes and more; The Children's Place debuted their new spring clothing line for boys and girls. The store also gifted celebs with monkey t-shirts and monkey plushies.

Also on hand: Alphabeasts -- 26 different plush monsters, each representing a letter from the alphabet to help educate children in their ABCs; The Good Nite Lite, a sleep training night light that switches from sun to moon, providing cues for you child to help establish appropriate sleep patterns; luxury hair bands from Liv & Lily; bloomers from Little Mave; tutus by Olivia Rose; organic stroller cleaner kits from Buggy Love; Little Jots -- "lunchbox" note cards with pre-written messages of love for your child.

Kids and parents were able to have some interactive fun with Zone 9 Exposure, an event photography company that snaps pics of guests in a custom designed background (via digital green screen) and prints them on the spot.

THE Hospitality Suite Presented by Lady Footlocker VIP Program in Celebration of the 69th Annual Golden Globes Awards held at Confidential Beverly Hills:

Celebs received Joico haircare products along with the brand's vapor iron, a type of a flat iron that reconstructs hair thanks to a built-in reservoir that holds a liquid, which transforms into vapor when heated.

Also: Parada Jewelry Cleaner, Mofone iPhone cases and eco-friendly coffee cups by Repurpose Mugs and handmade jewelry from Haute Betts.
