FOX's Neil Cavuto Hosts Roundtable Discussion With Hooters' Waitresses...

Yesterday, Fox News host and global warming activist Neil Cavuto hosted a roundtable discussion for a group of feisty, opinionated...Hooters waitresses, in celebration of their 2007 calendar. Introduced as "Hooties Hotties" in the intro graphic, Cavuto and the girls spent the last segment of the show discussing whether patrons hit on them while they're working (not at all, say the girls, "they have respect, they know the boundaries"), and also asked for their thoughts on how it's "been a controversial time for beautiful women" what with Miss USA, Miss Nevada, preggers Miss New Jersey; what did the Hooters girls think of that? (Their assessment: Everyone makes mistakes, sometimes fame can be overwhelming, "but we're just a family restaurant"). Ever the enterprising journalist, Cavuto pointed out that Miss Nevada had landed a hooters girls, full frontal.JPG$2 million deal with Playboy... hmm? The girls were quick to negate that association -- "We're just small-town girls" -- and were pretty practical in their assessment of Miss New Jersey's predicament on giving up her after learning she was pregnant: "I guess you can't do it pregnant!" "Rules are rules!" The best part, though, was Cavuto wondering if the girls were held to a specific weight standard - to which he replied, "Oh, come on!" to their chorus of "No"s; as one glisteningly gorgeous girl explained haltingly, "all guys like different things....different looks, different sizes..." Cavuto, tough questioner that he is, pressed on with specifics: "It's not happened? No one's just come in and just porked out for a few weeks?" Clearly, he misunderstands the qualifications for a job as a Hooter's waitress.
