OJ Tries To Block If I Did It Auction

OJ Tries To BlockAuction

If you thought the OJ saga was over, you'd be wrong: ABC News is reporting today that OJ Simpson is headed to court in an attempt to block the auction of his extremely , controversial book "If I Did It"; an account of how he "would" have killed his wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman had he actually done so.

Whether or not the title ever sees the light of day remains to be seen (we rather hope it doesn't, but we're not holding our breath). Rumors of the book had initially surfaced early last fall but were quickly dismissed, only to resurface in November as a publishing reality via Judith Regan's Regan Books, an imprint of Harper Collins . The subsequent public uproar over its subject matter resulted in the cancelling of the title, accompanied by a rare apology from News Corp. head (of which Harper Collins is a subsidiary) Rupert Murdoch, and shortly thereafter the dismissal of Regan herself (and that, as regular readers of this site know, was a whole /a> other story).
