Military-Appointed Thai Gov't Blocks YouTube Over Video Mocking King

First it was Brazil protecting its favorite beach-happy supermodel, then Turkey blowing its stack over a video insulting legendary President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. But woe be to the user-generated website that dares to mess with the King of Thailand. Reuters brings word that Thailand's military-appointed government has blocked all access to YouTube after the site, backed by owner Google Inc., refused to remove a video clip that mocked the revered Thai monarch. After the national ministry failed in its efforts to eliminate the clip, a reportedly outraged Thailand Communications Board ordered that the entire site be blocked immediately.
