House Where Johnny Cash Wrote Songs, Hosted Presidents Destroyed By Fire

The lakeside home of Johnny Cash, where the singer wrote much of his music and entertained American presidents and fellow musicians, has been destroyed by fire.

Cash, whose hits included Ring of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues and I Walk the Line, lived in the sprawling, 14,000-sq ft house with his second wife, June Carter Cash, from the late 1960s until their deaths in 2003.
