Martha Raddatz confronted Dana Perino during today's White House brief over the administration's continued insistence that President Bush's "Mission Accomplished" statements have been "misconstrued."
"I don't know how they've misconstrued it, because the president said, 'Major combat operations in Iraq have ended.'" Perino interrupted and read two follow-up Bush statements, but Raddatz responded, "But, [inaudible]...'operations are over.' I mean, I don't even know why you're still arguing about that."
