Former Washingtonian magazine food critic Thomas Head has settled his age discrimination suit against the monthly glossy.
In 2005, Washingtonian hired Todd Kliman and installed him atop Head on the masthead, and he started assuming some of Head's responsibilities. Insisting his employment record had been spotless, Head claimed age discrimination through his lawyer. But we understand the parties recently reached a settlement. Head, who is in his 60s, confirmed that there is an agreement but would say only that "the matter has been amicably resolved, and the terms of the agreement are confidential."
