Didja see didja see? HuffPo (which stands for HuffyPotter, natch) has its very own blogger flame war going on between Daniel Radosh and John Neffinger, two smart, Potter-loving writers on very different sides of the New York Times pre-publication review scandal controversy, now a scandal of global proportions, unless you don't consider Australia to be very far away. Radosh thinks the NYT should publish all it wants, 'cause baby, that's the news; Neffinger thinks that the NYT and its ilk are Grinch-like meanies who would send an investigative team up a chimney to prove there was no Santa Claus, and swipe the plate of cookies on their way out for good measure. Who's right? Well, they're both very smart and erudite and would clearly ace their N.E.W.T.s with flying colors, and those colors would probably be scarlet and gold. Since I'm the damsel that started it all off I'll stay neutral, except, well, for this, but you can peruse the blog posts below and come to your own decision — at least until someone weighs in again. We're told that they're meeting in Diagon Alley after school for a wand-off. Expelliarmus! Parvati Patil is so there.
