I saw this segment and don't believe for a moment Tucker's claim of grabbing a friend and going back for a confrontation.

Once his giggling co-commentators started to crack jokes, he was backpeddaling double time to makeup an outcome that saved his rep. I could see him judging their reaction and adjusting his story. His effort to be part of the story backfired.

Funny how in the name of truth we risk turning this into a witch hunt. I think Tucker overspoke (which is what people do when they are nervous), and put his ... er... foot in his mouth. But it makes me uncomfortable how people are so "bent" on exposing him.
