Dangerous to the maximum degree, and one can only hope the protests are loud and non violent but unruly just the same. It would be even greater if it was in the hundreds of thousands.

If Howard thinks he's going to move a climate change agenda forward one centimeter while George Bush is in the room, he's gone round the bend. Sydney is going to be a barren police state in lockdown, and for what? So George Bush can have a photo op in front of the Opera House, and then ignore global warming at the APEC meeting?

I hope the protests are massive and non-violent. Bush-toady Howard needs to see just how much he and George are despised, right before he goes down hard to Rudd and the Labor Party.

If anything happens there that can be remotely construed as a "threat" to the U.S., Bush Jr. can kick in his Executive Orders and be dictator. I wonder what Joh Howard will say then?
