I did not think the "film" really made any sense. It could have been done in much better way. These are professionals making this film? I did not get the connection to tourture and shock doctrine. Manipulating people after a tragic event is not something someone a guy came up with a few decades ago in the Nixion administration, it has been as long as there has been organized goverment! This film is some kind of socialist propaganda. People need to realize that socialism and free markets are imperfect systems. Bush, secretly tell Osama Bin Laden, or his family, that Osama, their son, would be the fall guy for the downing of the WTC on 9/11, but for playing the role of the villain, Osama would have to become a recluse in a cave, soon to be forgotten by the President, "he's of little concern", only to be left alone and safe, because all effort to find him and bring him to trial or face justice, has always been thrown out the window. Wow. I watched her speech on the privatization of the Iraq war and how it drives its profitability and decreases the likelihood that the war will end. She is one of a HANDFUL of American journalists speaking truth today.

Information is a tool to defend against this but unfortunately it is human nature to want to deny things too difficult to digest and comprehend. Milton Friedman's thinking had two glaring fundamental flaws:

1) That a "free market" system is somehow the most natural, superior, and highly evolved system possible.

2) That there actually is such a thing as a free market.

Free market advocates and libertarians both fail to recognize that life under either would NOT result in the highly advanced societies & achievements those societies have produced.
