Defiant and energetic, Senator John McCain has taken his "No Surrender" tour to V.F.W. halls, parades and barbecues in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. He talks about his support for a renewed effort to win the Iraq war. He pays tribute to Gen. David H. Petraeus and the report he issued about progress in Iraq.

The one thing that Mr. McCain, Republican of Arizona, does not talk about is President Bush.

When you have a crime family behind you
you can afford to be cocky. Take him out of his element and he's lost. Why do you think he
never left the country before he went to
Casa Blanca?

"He lauds General Petraeus, portraying him as a hero to cheering crowds " 'thank God America is blessed with that kind of leadership...'" Well, doesn't McC understand that if Petreeus gave up his position as Bush hand puppet, he wouldn't have a job? Or is McC auditioning for the job

You left wing nuts are why most Americans vote Republican in the first place.

I remember well when Rush called Chelsey Clinton a dog. I don't recall McCain being upset about that.
Go MoveON!!!!!!

We remember this incident also. A 13 year old girl fair game for the Limpdick, "You eat with that mouth" baugh. That is when any affiliate of talk radio no longer get any of my dollars. Sleeptrain and all can go to the dogs. The talk radio sponsors don't care, but I remember and I do care.

Of course McPain doesn't stand up for his own daughter so, there you have the family values defiled again.

Nice try Senator McCain, but silence about Gee Dubya only confirms the obvious fact that you are still prostrating yourself to someone unworthy to wash your socks.

Everyone who has listened to this angry bastard can see that he is bat sh%t crazy and must have left his sanity in the Hanoi Hilton. Bless him for his service, but he didn't learn anything from that experience if he sees the clusterf*ck in the Middle East as worthwhile. We were defending South Vietnam from an invading force, Korea the same, WWII, Germany and Japan were invading and we were defending...here we are the agressors, invading countries to kill and steal from them.

McCain has dreams of Iraq being his "road not taken," where he gets another chance to make the hero's comeback, guns ablazing and kick butt...anywhere or any old war will do.

Sadly, McCain's polls might be enjoying a surge out of the surge.

OK, so McCain's a whore, we already knew that. He went through an incredible sacrifice during Viet Nam debacle, no doubt, and had some fine qualities as a soldier. BUT, would somebody here, who has served in uniform, PLEASE inform me as to why vets cheer W and a war that has been documented extensively to have been started on pretense? Why would anyone in uniform support these bastards? Your brothers and sisters are being wasted for a lost and false cause.....please tell me why you support the continued slaughter of our troops and invading a country that posed no threat to us!

Vets are not cheering bush, McCain crticized his mismanagement of the war and was asking for Rumsfeld's resignation years ago.

But he as well as most military experts say that getting out of Iraq, now that we f---ed it up would be worse.

No doubt it was a mistake to go in in the first place, but the blame for that goes to the spineless Democrats who voted for the authorization to go to war.

McCain is a true American Hero. he was against the Bush and Rumsfeld strategy four years ago. You people who bash him seem to forget he was calling for the troop surge and Rumsfeld resignation four years ago.

What you have now is a strategy he called for four years ago, and it seems to be working. Now we need to put pressure on the Iraq gov't to get their act together.

Bash all you want, but keep in mind that Clinton, Edwards, Biden, all voted for the War.
Clinton went as far as to say Saddam harbopred Al Qaeda terrorist (flat out misrepresentation/lie).

McCain has studied the history of Wars, and knows what needs to be done to get the done job right. Most military experts agree with his position.

I am a Democrat who wants Obama (a fresh start in Washington) to win the Presidency, but if it is not him McCain would be a logical second chocie.

It's absolutely wonderful that the GOP's greatest PR disaster, obstacle to reelection/election and legislative policy opponent is George W. Bush. The dominance of greed and exploitation in the personal agenda of this incompetent and despised president leaves no room for political compromise even with the people who enabled and protected him. He would not have come to power nor would he have been able to inflict the damage he has on America and the world if they had not created and sustained the egomaniac they must now live with. George W. Bush is doing to Republicans what they helped him do to Democrats. It's just that the Republicans were so ambitiously corrupt they chose to ignore the likelihood that he would do the same to them when it suited his purposes. That's what they get for being loyal to and trusting someone so obviously dishonest, manipulative, heedless and uncontrollable. He is their Frankenstein monster, and they can no longer provide for him the only thing he has ever wanted from them......complete unconditional obedience! In his self-consuming unreality, they have betrayed him.

HA! You're funny Senator! Everybody knows the dummy can't decide what the ventriloquist will make him say. Too bad too, there was a time you had some promise...comparitively speaking.
