Israeli Raid On Syria Said To Destroy Nuclear Cache

It was just after midnight when the 69th Squadron of Israeli F15Is crossed the Syrian coast-line. On the ground, Syria's formidable air defences went dead. An audacious raid on a Syrian target 50 miles from the Iraqi border was under way.

At a rendezvous point on the ground, a Shaldag air force commando team was waiting to direct their laser beams at the target for the approaching jets. The team had arrived a day earlier, taking up position near a large underground depot. Soon the bunkers were in flames.

Oh come on, everyone knows that the Syrians are lovely, peace-loving people, who just want to grow their figs and devote themselves to the great accomplishments realized by their advanced society.

And since the creation of Israel they've extended the olive branch of peace continually, but it's those horrible Israelis who've rejected every overture.

Why, after the 1967 war it was the Israelis who came up with the three no's . . . no peace, no negotiations, no recognition. It's just the Zionist press who perpetuate these lies that the Arabs don't want peace.

And if Syria should obtain a nuclear weapon, it would only be used for peaceful purposes.

Israel must enter Syrian airspace to attack Iran and this "raid" merely tested Syrian air defenses which seem to work just fine.

They are also usually blissfully unaware that their democratic candidates for President have pledged to continue total aid to Israel, even though they claim to be against it while ranting here on Arianna Huffington's anti-military website.

If you notice, the "anti-war" protesters constantly deface the American flag but never deface the Palestinian flag.

There are so many holes that could be verified in this story but aren't. It amazes me that the MSM falls for the unsubstantiated assertions of the same liars. If this material was shipped in from North Korea, why was it not stopped and inspected on the high seas, where any nation could have demanded to see a manifest?
If this were truly a nuclear facility, a measurable amount of radiation would have leaked and been detected by multiple sources. These are only two questions that come to mind. The followups, if there are any, should address these issues and more as the distortion and lies become apparent. We can only hope that the real journalism occurs before the real assault on Iran takes place.
