Rudy To Woo NRA

New York Post:

Rudy Giuliani, an ardent gun-control advocate as mayor, will address the National Rifle Association on Friday.

The GOP White House hopeful, who backed the federal assault-weapons ban in 1994 over the objections of the NRA, has changed his position as a presidential candidate. He now says he supports the Second Amendment and believes gun laws should be addressed by the states.

It is possible that the NRA would endorse Giuliani.

I'm a NRA member. Rudy and Mitt both suck. I dislike Hillary, Obama and Edwards too. Bush is a fool.

When are Hillary and Obama going to address the NRA? The NRA has over 4 million members and represents gun owners all over America.
Could it be that like the Republicans avoiding NAACP rallies and debates at Morgan University the Democrats are only going after the demographic that votes for them? Where's the outrage you guys show about the Republicans not begging black voters for support?

Rudy can say what he wants to the NRA. It's membership knows that Giuliani is no friend of gun owners.
I've no doubt that if Giuliani wins the Republican nomination the NRA will back him since that alternative (Clinton/Obama) will be worse for gun owners. How many of the 4 million NRA members will actually vote for Rudy is in doubt.

Rudy has lived most of his life as a moderate Rethug. Heck he even endorsed Democrat Mario Cuomo for governor, I believe, over Rethug George Patacki (who by the way I thought wanted to run for Pres?)

NOW, he wants to establish Conservative credentials in what 12 easy steps!
