The Hill:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) will appear on all five Sunday talk shows tomorrow in what could be a defining day in her run for the White House.

Clinton is jumping in with both feet on the Sunday talk show circuit, opting for what could be five grueling interviews on "Meet the Press," "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," "Fox News Sunday," "Face the Nation" and "Late Edition."

Think of it as Bargain Shopping. BUY ONE AND GET ONE FREE! I thought Bill was great and with the two of them I think we can get real change. Now we need to vote out any politicians, Republican or Democrat that are against Fiscal responsibility (Bridges to no where)If your MONEY has no Value and you are in Debt you are loosing power rapidly.

FOX....no place for DEMOCRATS
12:59 PM on 09/23/2007
She will be one of the best Presidents the United States has ever had. A million times better than George W. Bush for starters. She's a tough candidate, nut it would help her to become a little more tough, on those in the media who questioning her, as in some ways their questions are a little too slanted towards entrapment, and given an added dash of uncalled for underhanded implied slander on her character and associations. As if they feel that by setting up barb wire, she might get scratched, and then the sharks can gather for the kill.
She's managed in spite of their attempts, to put them in their place, field their questions and concerns, and leave them spinning in their chairs. She has become stronger and better than ever, it's now time for her to get tougher still.
As it is right now, no one running in either party, even comes close. One can only wish her well, in her quest, against these wolves and hyenas, that are looking for any opportunity to eat her raw.

She will lose to a Republican. Republicans don't have the analytical qualities that you have. To them she's a lying, godless, commie lesbian Democrat. And they would vote for a lying, godless, commie, pervy Republican over her any day of the week.

Democrats better get their heads out of the clouds on this one.

"A majority of Americans were for the war before they were against it."

The problem is that "the war" leaked over into Iraq when that never should have happened. The "war" is referred to as the "War on Terror" lumping Afghanistan together with Iraq.

I was for going into Afghanistan (and I still am) to attack the Taliban and Al Qaeda because of 9/11. BUT I was NEVER for going into Iraq!!!

FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE CLINTON IS GETTING US OUT OF IRAQ, I ADVISE YOU TO WATCH HER INTERVIEW ON ABC THIS WEEK, with George Stephanopolous.

Decide for youselves. Democrats don't be fooled by this conniving politician that will say or do anything to get elected.

She is starting to belieive this national polls and is starting to run a national election campaign again.

She is not getting the troops out, so if you are voting based on that fact alone, she is not your candidate.

We CAN'T get them out. She's the only one telling the truth.

Bush has created a disaster in which we are really, really stuck.

Back in the day, during the Vietnam war, someone asked how we can we get the troops out. A senator, whose name is escaping me, replied "On ships." How do get the troops out of Iraq? On planes. It just takes the guts to do it. Something she lacks.

Oh and in case you missed it, according to a Pew Research poll 54% of Americans want the troops home as soon as possible.

Somebody PLEASE get Sen. Clinton a PROFESSIONAL speech coach. After seeing her on This Week, lordamighty, I have to wonder who her consultants are.

Well, George, WAYALL GEORGE. Well, George.....
Well, George.... Well, George.... How many more times did I not want to hear that. And the uhs. Uh, uh, uh.

And the intonation. Wah, wah, WAH, wah, WAH. Wah, wah, WAH, wah, WAH. Sounded like a naggy mother who in exasperation is trying to convince a wayward child to do his homework.

Sen. Clinton needs to get some charisma and confidence because NOBODY WANTS TO LISTEN TO A DOWNER.

I'd rather listen to Mitt Romney's commercials than hear more of this.

Please, Sen. Clinton, seek professional help.

Also, the haircut. Is that the best that New York has to offer?

It's no wonder the Republicans want to run against Sen. Clinton.

I was really pleased to see Hillary touting public financing of elections. That act, plus term limits, would really get the corporations under control. The only problem is, how does the candidate who is number two in taking big pharma money and number one in taking health care money pull it off. Somehow, although I'd like to believe her, I just don't.

If Edwards starts making a stronger showing, then, you'll see the big corporate money come out. He's the one they fear and to my mind the one we should embrace.

How narrow and undemocratic of you.
01:15 PM on 09/23/2007
my vote, my choice

got a problem with that?

did I tell you who to vote for?

mind your own G*D DAMN buisness when it involves MY VOTE.
01:22 PM on 09/23/2007
how is writing in a candidate, which I support undemocratic? It's a helluva lot more democratic, than only settling for the most popular, because you think he/she is most likely to win.

Hillary Clinton is running on her experience, not only as a senator, but as First Lady. So, let's analyze what occurred under her husband's tenure. He enabled the passing of NAFTA, which has prompted the flow of good-paying jobs overseas. He allowed for the further consolidation of the media through the cable laws in the mid-90s.
So, this is her experience? No wonder the media is pushing her--she's really a Republican. Remember that she backed the Iraq war until March of 2007, when it was no longer politically expedient. At one time, I thought the American citizens were too smart to believe whatever messages astute politicians send. After two Bushes, a Reagan, a Democrat who was really a Republican, and the public believing (according to polls) the message of the media that says a candidate with 20 years of experience in public life is "inexperienced" only because he hasn't spent much time in Washington (Obama), I've given up on the intelligence of my fellow Americans.

All it is a Fine Day in the New America! Citizens are afraid to denounce a war that they do not support. They know that if the speak out they will be disgraced, or even Tasered. God Bless the Swift Boat Veterans! God bless War! God Bless Senseless loss of life! God Bless Bush! All Hail the Great Bush And his Crusade for Freedom!

Wasn't it amusing watching those moral/family/Christian valued compassionate "All life is sacred" Repubs cheering and laughing at a human being being tasered and writhing on the floor, screaming in pain?

Obnoxious gets you tasered in America now.

Beautiful.

The Chicago Tribune had a front page article today basically reporting, and backed up by associated polls of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina middle class Dem voters, that Sen. Clinton is quite significantly leading Sen. Obama in that voter segment in those States with the (what the Tribune calls) “beer track voters”- those at a lower income level (roughly $40,000-$60,000 or less), and in general no or minimal college education. They note that Sen. Obama is however leading Sen. Clinton with the “wine track voters”, those at higher income levels, and generally college educated. I personally am quite puzzled by these poll results.

I find this quite amazing, and difficult to grasp, considering the seeming Clintonian roots of NAFTA, CAFTA (and SHAFTA if totally extended), wherein millions of these same “beer track voters” jobs have been outsourced overseas, their pay and benefits drastically cut over the past 10 or so years, their financial livelihood greatly weakened, and the American manufacturing sector, of which they rely upon, nearly completely decimated.

All their financial (and resulting emotional) pain, all their financial insecurity over the past ten years, and all of the great unknown about their financial futures looking forward, and yet look at their supposed allegiance! Their cut in pay and benefits, the loss of so many job opportunities, cuts in health care and retirement, and on and on, many of which resulting from those original NAFTA, CAFTA, etc. agreements, and STILL they seem to be getting reeled in once again, hook, line, and sinker to a candidate who IMO is linked intimately to those same big corporate lobbyists making fortunes from the outsourcing of all of those good American middle class jobs. Unbelievable!

Quoting the Tribune, “After Obama spent much of his career fighting for the middle class-first as a South Side community organizer and then as a State Legislator-his struggle to win over this group comes with some irony”. Yup-such great irony-who can figure it out!

Hillary won't put another religikook on the SCOTUS. You won't get another Alito from her. More like another Ruth Bader Ginzburg. There ARE differences between the Repubs and Dems - maybe not enough, but it's not true to say they're the same.

Yes, more eminent domain decisions will be the norm with more Ginsburgs.

Hooray for loss of personal liberty.

In the New America loss of Liberty will be celebrated throughout the land. "Liberty" has no place in the New American Empire. Only Obedience and Enthusiastic support of our future Military Conquests will be tolerated, Citizen Hydnorhare. All Hail Bush!
