The Observer (U.K.):

Harrods owner Mohamed al-Fayed has a pet project to build a zoo on the roof of the world-famous London store.

What would be a retail first is the brainchild of Harrods creative director Bill Mitchell, who is retained by al-Fayed to come up with ideas to inject pizzazz into the 158-year-old department store.

Yet more tackiness from Fayed.

Christ on a bike Harrods is a joke, lets had a few tons of dung and urine to the roof top to compound the spectacle.

It's NOT REALLY going to be a zoo, per se...more like a high-end pet store where expat(after THE FALL!!!!) Repuub parents can purchase the latest in cuddly endangered species for their rug ratz.

I'm sure the animals will be delighted with their new urban roof top home. There will be plenty of noise from the street. But, the continuous wafting of delectable smells from the food halls will make up for any inconveniences.

I hope the new zoo at Harrods is not over the Food Hall.

In Philadelphia, I often wondered about PCB's from the electric trains in Reading Terminal seeping into the food market one level below.
