The Federal Reserve is fundamentally unconstitutional because it merges the private banking industry with a federal appointee that is only answerable to the banking industry and acts in the best interest of Wallstreet. Their is nothing Federal about the FED and it limits competition for bank lending rates as well as interest saving rates, which are always less. I have no solution, but I have little regard for the Fed as well as Greenspan who validated the Bush taxes cuts. In his book he credits Bill Clinton with as being the most fiscally responsible presidents in history as well as the 1st president to balance the budget since WW2. He goes on to say that Bill Clinton should have been a Republican because he accomplished what Republican presidents merely pay lip service to. He than repeats this statement on Meet the Press with the partisan comment that a Hillary Clinton presidency would be to Liberal.

That's interesting, in my life time I have never seen a Republican balance a budget even on the state level. Before little Bush, Reagan was the biggest spender I've ever seen in the Whitehouse. Many of the problems this nation faces today can be traced right back to Reagan, George Bush just picked up the ball and ran as hard as he could. With the most compliant Congress in history he squandered away the treasury, destroyed the military as well as the value of the dollar. Greenspan acted as Bush's enabler much like a cocaine dealer enables a addict to get another 5 year run. Their nothing conservative about these people, nothing.

Of course McCain would do that because Greenspan's advocacy of the overthrow of Saddam Hussein is a clear-cut case of a war crime by the standards of the Nueremberg trials.

John McCain will end up back in Arizona yelling at the neighbor kids to get off his lawn,just like crazy old men everywhere.

Given the role of the Federal Reserve, a dead chairman would be an improvement.

He appears to be making statements for the purpose of hearing himself speak, without regard for how insane those statements might be interpreted by a listener ... voter ... country ... congress. Here's a better idea : Ask why the Nation is being run like a no-limit credit with you paying the interest. Before the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 there was no Central Bank, an idea Thomas Jefferson totally opposed. The people weren't stupid enough to pay interest on their own money. A Banking Monopoly was what the American Revolution was about : Eliminate the Bank of England's total control. The Federal Reserve Act changed that. Americans should forget about reviewing the Tax Code
and review the Federal Reserve Act. Not one candidate, except perhaps Ron Paul,
has any sense of International Finance at all.
The last President with a clue was Franklin Roosevelt.
