Yeas & Nays has obtained excerpts of Matt Lauer's interview of Sen. Larry Craig, and his wife, Suzanne, which will be broadcast on NBC Tuesday at 8 p.m.

When asked if Craig regrets his decision not to tell anyone about the July 11 incident in a men's bathroom at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Craig tells Lauer:

Larry is saying that his biggest mistake is not bringing in his lawyers, right away. Why should we trust a Senator to not be wise enough to make decisions without his lawyers?

Even more importantly, why should we trust a man who wants to be President who needs to consult with lawyers regarding making a moral decision about killing women and children?

Anyone wanna Bet that Craig does not keep his word (again) and he runs for the Senate in Idaho in 08?

I know the guy, (Can you say "Megalomaniac"?) I'm telling you he will run for the Senate in Idaho again... and he may even win.

A LOT of voters in Idaho still like him and think he was set up in that airport bathroom.

When there are more Larry Craig Supporters calling in to the conservative radio talk shows in Idaho than those that want to see "wide Stance Larry" gone, it seems a slam dunk, that "Wide Stance" Larry is gonna stay right where he is at for a very long time.

What's really bizarre about this is that Mitt Romney is also a closet gay. When he was governor of Mass, he was seen more than once frequenting a Boston gay bar late in the evening and leaving with a young stud. You heard it here first. But, as Larry well knows, screwing around with guys does not make one "gay". Romney has such a cold heart that even his doctor can't here it beating: flip flop flip flop.
