Bush To Unveil "Unprecedented" Unilateral Sanctions Against Iran

The Bush administration plans to roll out an unprecedented package of unilateral sanctions against Iran today, including the long-awaited designations of its Revolutionary Guard Corps as a proliferator of weapons of mass destruction and of the elite Quds Force for supporting terrorism, according to senior administration officials.

The package, scheduled to be announced jointly by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr., marks the first time that the United States has tried to isolate or punish another country's military. It is the broadest set of punitive measures imposed on Tehran since the 1979 takeover of the U.S. Embassy, the officials said.

$90-a-barrel oil will look like the good old days, China will gladly fill the market void and Junior's war crimes trial will have to be held by the light of straw torches (or burning drums of U.S. currency).

It will come, you are correct about that. What you fail to talk about is the reason it will come. Bush, and those like him in the past and present are making sure it will come no matter what. They dont like to be wrong, so they are doing everything in their power to make sure it does happen. And, as long as they are at it, they are making sure they make a few billion on the selling of oil, weapons, and other things that are in demand when wars on going on.
