Defamer:

Those sneaky MySpace folks, after teasing that their Exclusive! First! Owen Wilson! Interview! Since, You Know, The Incident! would be getting a terribly inconvenient midnight world premiere, have (thankfully) snuck the video online several hours early. And? The clip contains talk of monkeys, the inoculations you need to film in India, and other good-natured chatter overwhelmed by the unbearable tension that Anderson will at some point finally break from the small talk t

The nervous undercurrent in this interview is an uncomfortable recognition of the fragility of life -- and a glimmer of the real courage it takes to carry on anyway. I say real courage because they clearly don't recognize what they've found in themselves as courage -- but it is. All's they know is that they're kind of scared, whistling past the graveyard-- and by some miracle still walking, still talking.

The revelation that they're actually on separate coasts, reaching out to each other through the ether is -- eerie.

I liked what they had to say about Darjeeling Ltd. about three brothers reconnecting. It is as if he discovered something making that other movie with his real brothers (shot here in Austin) The Wendell Baker Story. Lighthearted tone, but with the serious theme of the brevity of our life here on earth. Quirky, independent, local, funny, serious and absolutely glorious.

Can a pretty boy mature into a serious character actor? Sure. Maybe we're seeing it happen before our very eyes.

IF he specifically says beforehand, I'll talk about anything EXCEPT my suicide attempt, that's one thing. If he doesn't do that, then it's fair game. Why? Because he knew that becoming a celebrity means you pay a price. Along with the $20 million payday per movie, fame and hot babes anytime you want comes not having a private life. So if he manipulates the media to keep his nam out there that's his fault. I'm sorry he felt the need to try and kill himself. But you can't have it both ways.

My guess is you're single. Or divorced.

Suicide is an intensely personal decision.

The public doesn't have the "right" to discuss what was going on with Owen Wilson when he (apparently) made a decision to end his life.

Even if he is a celebrity.

On CSI, they found a body, hung, and the script read: "It couldn't be suicide because people commit suicide in private because it's so shameful."

Wrong. It's personal. Intensely personal. It's between a person and their Creator, and no one else. The last thing someone committing suicide wants is some stranger, or even well-intentioned friend, getting into their most personal business at such a moment.

Quit hounding Owen Wilson. Huffpo, you should delete this piece.

Instead, everyone, including the media, should be sure just to let Owen Wilson know what they mean to him, and how his hilarious acting has brightened THEIR lives.

Owen, I wish you well. I've enjoyed movies you've been in. Rolled on the floor laughing at some. I hope you stay with us a little longer.
