Headline: HILLARY CHEATS WAITRESS OUT OF TIP!

John Edwards $400 haircut, Barack Obama's not wearing a flag lapel pin or putting his hand over his heart while singing the national anthem, Dennis Kucinich's UFO sighting, etc.....ad f*%king nauseum.

Not only is it undeniable proof that the MSM has the collective mentality of a bunch of snotty high school gossip queens, it's also a clear indication that they have every intent of collaborating with or tacitly enabling the hate-mongering right in smearing whomever is the Dem nominee to be. Hillary Clinton is the most recent recipient of this abuse simply by virtue of the fact she's the current front-runner.

They did it to Gore and they did it to Kerry and they most assuredly are planning to do it again to the next Dem nominee -- make no mistake about it.

The Iowa waitress was wrong -- the MSM aren't "nuts" -- they're well paid, pampered, immoral elites who couldn't give a rat's ass about the issues that effect average working Americans.

If and when the American people ever wise up and decide that they've had enough of this crap, it's quite likely going to result in history repeating itself like it did with how the Italian people dealt with Mussolini and his fascist thugs in the waning days of WWII -- and considering Italy seems to be a better country for it today -- who knows? -- maybe that might not be such a bad thing to happen here.

Like the waitress said, you guys are nuts.

There is an aide who is responsible for paying, and they have to keep meticulous records and RECEIPTS FOR ALL EXPENDITURES, INCLUDING THE TIP, AND IT WAS PROBABLY PAID FOR BY A CREDIT CARD.

The tip was applied there, AND THE MANAGER/BOSS DID NOT GIVE THE TIPS TO THE WAITRESSES. IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS.

I put myself through undergraduate school waitressing, and I had to fight the management all the time for my tips which were on credit cards. Now, when I pay for the bill with a credit card or a debit card, I make it clear to the waiter or waitress that their tip is included there, and WHAT IT IS, so they can get it.

This story highlights the problem with Hillary as the nominee. Though she doesn't deserve the inane and over the top response to the tip fiasco, unlike most of the other candidates, more people are willing to believe the worst about both her and her husband Bill.

While Hillary, would in many ways, make a good president; she's smart, has encyclopedic knowledge of the issues and has, a kinda sorta experience in the WH, her strong negatives outweigh her pluses.

This flap over the tip, is just the beginning, of horrible, "gotcha coverage" over the personal, rather than policy.

Would one of the networks hire Ms. Esterday to moderate the next candidate debate? Please!

Hehe, Clinton could care less about a waitress and that tips are an important part of income. She was in her own world dealing with whatever was on her mind at the time. The waitress probably has a list of folks she complains about because of no or low tipping practices. The aide tried to cover but it is too late. This is just another example of how Clinton cares about the little people in general. If she can promote a program to get some votes, well that is another matter.

The waitress has more common sense than the politicians or the media put together. Can we get her to run?

I think you people are missing the real story here. According to a Clinton spokesman and the restaurant manager, a $100 tip was left on a $150 bill. Who got it is a matter of disagreement; however, one thing is for sure. Hillary would do well in the Bush Administration as a military procurement officer awarding no bid contracts to Halliburton. Geez, this was no four-star outfit. Twenty-percent ($30) would have been plenty.

It's not a big unless you consider if character is a important consideration in our next President.

If this is all the right wing press can come up with, this is a sad state of affairs.

Journalists, give up your jobs and pick up a camera and become a PAPARAZZI. You'll be about as respected as your current profession has become.

Hillster's tips or not, thats different

Unfortunately, this is just a small sampling of what we'll have if Clinton is elected. The press hate her. The pundits hate her. From the moment she is declared the winner, scandals, investigations, rumors, innuendo and mud slinging will begin. She'll be like her husband, in constant defense mode. Everything will be looked at and in most cases distorted. We'll have a Whitewater revisit, a Travel Gate reprise, Vince Foster's death rehashed, it'll be just one attack followed by another.
The press loathes the Clinton's (especially Hillary)as much if not more then they did Nixon.

The press loved Reagan and still like Bush, so these guys, who really were crooks and liars and in at least one case a sociopath, get a free pass. Ya gotta love that "liberal" media!

Aw come on... she's a quarter-un­der-the-pl­ate woman... thats what we called them when I was a waitress in portland Maine... Hillary leaves a quarter-un­der-the-pl­ate. You would pick up each plate after they had left and there would be a shiny spanking new quarter under each dirty plate to show how much they appreciated your service.

So - the tip was put on the credit card and the boss kept it. And that's an old story in the restaurant business.

HuffPo should headline every story with "You People Are Really Nuts." Things just keep getting nuttier and the press is largely to blame. Also at fault are all of us readers who tune in to catch all the crap that passes for news. Blogging crap is just as bad as reporting crap in the first place.
