I just can't believe the comments that I have read here. This young man has lost his mother......are you not human? Do you not have feelings? No matter what your political or racial likes or dislikes are.....don't you understand that pain that this family is in???

I am a black woman that has had two plastic surgery procedures myself. Do you know that someone that you know has had a procedure done? Do you know that someone that you probably love has had a procedure done?
With 80 million procedures done....yes chances are you've known someone. I dont care if you're in the sticks of rural america, yes you know someone. And if you think you don't then you're just as stupid as your comments.
But no matter what the procedure was....the fact is that a woman is gone from her family. A family is in pain from not being able to touch, smell, laugh, and enjoy their mom.
And if you're so warrped to not understand that it does not matter what his color is, or her color, or his music, or what he gave back to the community, or the fact that he made a statement....that so many of you already know about Bush.......does that make him not cry and feel pain for his mother?
And if really know him, you would know that he wrote several songs relating to his mom prior to this. They had a solid, loving relationship....and he is in pain....and I feel for him and his family and they accept what has happened and try to move on with life, with love..........My heart goes out to them....don't you have any space in your heart to feel the same way?

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kanye West and family in their time of grief.

What I find stupid about this Hufpo post, is the Read More links. They lead to 2 or 3 sentences saying basically the same thing with no more details of anything. This is a shameless ploy to get more hits by deception. Maybe they should have something more to write before they just sling up the Read More links.

I hope they close that surgeon down and he never practices again. But of course since he is probably a very wealthy one, republicans , and some democrats will circle the wagons and defend him to the end of his bank account.

it's frightening to me that plastic surgery is taken so "casually" these days. I don't think too many people realize how common the "allergic reaction" to anesthesia is. And the more times you have anesthesia, the worse the reaction gets.

Reality check: Donda West was professor and chair of the English Department at Chicago State University before retiring to become her son's manager. Another thing, people die on operating tables everyday for a myriad of reasons. Sure, maybe people shouldn't get plastic surgery. But something like this could happen when your getting your tonsils out. And whether or not you like Kanye West (I don't), Donda appears to have been a decent, loving, educated person who raised an extremely ambitious and self-confident son.

Oh how sad. My heart goes out to Mr West.
