Troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse has returned to the stage for the opening night of her UK tour, dedicating one of her songs to her husband who was locked up earlier this week.
In a sometimes brilliant, but often shambolic, set in Birmingham, Ms Winehouse devoted the song Wake Up Alone to her husband Blake Fielder-Civil which features the lyrics: "This face in my dreams seizes my guts. He floods me with dread."
She told thousands of fans at the city's National Indoor Arena: "This is for my husband."
