Rosie

Rosie O'Donnell, hosting the 10th annual fundraiser for her very charitable For All Kids Foundation, was riffing and having fun from the dais during an auction of pricey gifts such as spending a day on the set of "Nip/Tuck" or taking a 14-day cruise in the Mediterranean on a luxury liner.

"George Bush is a war criminal," she blurted out. Earlier she'd told the audience in the ballroom of the Marriott Marquis that New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg was her candidate.

"I re-registered as an Independent because of him," she said.

Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't.

Eleanor Roosevelt

"The night was really to celebrate the astonishing $67 million Rosie has raised in the last 10 years and the more than $30 million she’s given away.
Her charity has built 27 child-care centers across the country, for example. When Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast in 2005, Rosie turned her organization into a disaster relief group and swooped into Baton Rouge with money and supplies."

Now why doesn't the MSM publicize THESE good works??? Part of the "vast MSM conspiracy" to
diminish liberals, perhaps?!

Finally someone with a visible profile saying what's completely obvious to the rest of the entire world! Of course Bush is a war criminal, an unprovoked aggression against another country is the supreme crime as defined in Nuremberg after WWII. Too bad most Americans don't remember, even right after remembrance days, the most important lessons that indelible calamity taught us, that wars should never be waged lest a threat be real and material, not manufactured for war profiteering corporations and their puppets in government to line their pockets. Does anyone even realize that over a million Iraqis have died since this all began in '91? Can you imagine America being invaded and 15 million people dying while the invader proclaims it's liberating you? Get a clue U.S.A.! And thank you Rosie

Rosie is an American treasue, a self made, brave and charitable woman. It was her party, her rules. If you disagree, fine, but please come up with something better than "she's fat" As to the part where she is credited with taking on an cause that was unpopular at the time..excuse me? Invading Iraq was pretty unpopular from the beginning, especially among those of us who do actually read and think. Our Supreme Court elected president, barely made it to his second term, without probably stealing Ohio, and Kerry was not a strong candidate.
My hope is that Bush and Cheney aka Czar George and Rasputin Dick will be prosecuted for war crimes after they leave office. On the other hand it will be such a relief to not see their smirking faces, most will probably just hope they disappear..back to their estates and Saudi friends.

Thank God she raises money for charity, otherwise she wouldn't be worth anything to anyone except I-Hop.

She is a lunatic....a crazy person who thinks Dick Chaney melted bridges in CA, and Bush blew up the twin towers.

She must have been on some kind of meds on her old show. People where able to indentify with her back then. Normal, average people, not just Huff conspiracy theorist.

Let my name stand among those who are willing to bear ridicule and reproach for the truth's sake, and so earn some right to rejoice when the victory is won.

All right, we get it. The television networks won't touch Rosie with a ten foot pole, and now she's just trying to remain relevant in the public eye. It doesn't work. When she does politics and commentary she just comes across as shrill, simple-minded and uninformed.

Rosie should salvage what little she can of her public image and go back to doing what she does best - comedy. Tell a few jokes, make some funny faces and go back to doing whatever it is she did before she got weird.

"Today the world faces a single man armed with weapons of mass destruction, manifesting an aggressive, bullying attitude, who may well plunge the world into chaos and bloodshed if he miscalculates. This person, belligerent, arrogant, and sure of himself, truly is the most dangerous person on Earth. The problem is that his name is George W. Bush, and he is our president"

Jack M. Balkin, Knight Professor of Constitutional Law and the First Ammendment, Yale Law School, September 22, 2002

Love that pic. Looks like Rosie O Doughnut is saying, Oh no, I couldn't possibly have another side of ham."

BWHAHAHAHAA!

Like that would ever happen.

And PLEASE Bloomberg..the only reason she likes him is that like her he's a rich man who thinks if he throws some money at something....he's a good guy....and he's doing something important...so the arts budget in NYC will be cut....but no fear....he's just make up the difference with his own money....oh that's how we need to run a government....

So sad ... so this is the story...BUSH IS A WAR CRIMINAL....not her foundation not the work of her staff of the foundation or the programs (and she so did not thank or acknowedge her staff at the event) Right her money her night....and she insulted donors during the live auction and again....her "inappropriate" language was insulting to a number of those who attended....
