The Ron Paul campaign is gearing up to escalate its battle to destroy the U.S. Constitution in order to save it and to otherwise bugger our imaginations with rampaging insanity by taking the fight to the skies! Pictured, at right, is the Paulites latest atrocity: an artist's concept of what would be the Ron Paul Blimp! The Dread Zeppelin! La dirigible unintelligible! It will float from town to town, and, if the description the Paul supporter behind this idea is accurate, confuse the minds of men!

Imagine.. the mainstream media is mesmerized as the image of the Ron Paul blimp is shown to tens of millions of Americans throughout the day (and throughout the month). Wolf Blizter [sic], stunned and as if in a trance, repeats the words "Amazing, Amazing".

You have to admit, this sounds AWESOME.

As GPS co-ordinates stream to the website a map shows the Ron Paul blimp's location in real time. The local Television stations broadcast its every move. The curious flock together and make a trip to see history in the making. Emails with pictures are sent, then forwarded, then forwarded again. Youtube videos go viral and reach tens of millions of views. Ron Paul becomes the first presidential candidate in history to have his very own blimp. The PR stunt generates millions upon millions of dollars worth in free publicity, and captures the imagination of America.

But why stop there? Why don't we raise some money to buy Ron Paul his very own kangaroo? He can climb in the pouch and hop from campaign stop to campaign stop! Wolf Blitzer will look on, dumbfounded, muttering, "Stunning...wondrous!"

The thing is, these Paulites are deadly serious about this. They claim to have raised over $98,000 toward the $350K they think will make this blimp a reality. And if the picture below is any indication, the next terrorist-themed movie they aim to fetishize may be Black Sunday.

Really. Isn't it time to consider whether we might all be better off if we simply gave in to Ron Paul's demands?

H.J. Res 114

Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution

Senator Biden (D) - Yea
Senator Clinton (D) - Yea
Senator Dodd (D) - Yea
Senator Edwards (D) - Yea
Senator McCain (R) - Yea
Senator Thompson (R) - Yea
Representative Hunter (R) - Yea
Representative Tancredo (R) - Yea

Representative Kucinich (D) - Nay
Representative Paul (R) - Nay

Let's see, who are the only candidates to never vote for this war nor never vote to fund this war?

Who are the only candidates that have been right since the beginning?

Don't get me wrong, the 8 candidates that got the most important vote of their career wrong are good people, but do they deserve to be President when they definitly made the wrong decision?

Go ask the more than 3,800 families if the 8 candidates that voted incorrectly back in October 2002 should be rewarded the Presidency of the United States.

Vote your conscience people!!!

Statement Introducing the American Freedom Agenda Act of 2007

by Ron Paul

Before the U.S. House of Representatives on October 15, 2007

Mr. Speaker, today I am introducing a comprehensive piece of legislation to restore the American Constitution and to restore the liberties that have been sadly eroded over the past several years.

This legislation seeks to restore the checks and balances enshrined in the Constitution by our Founding Fathers to prevent abuse of Americans by their government. This proposed legislation would repeal the Military Commissions Act of 2006 and re-establish the traditional practice that military commissions may be used to try war crimes in places of active hostility where a rapid trial is necessary to preserve evidence or prevent chaos.

The legislation clarifies that no information shall be admitted as evidence if it is obtained from the defendant through the use of torture or coercion. It codifies the FISA process as the means by which foreign intelligence may be obtained and it gives members of the Senate and the House of Representatives standing in court to challenge presidential signing statements that declare the president’s intent to disregard certain aspects of a law passed in the US Congress. It prohibits kidnapping and extraordinary rendition of prisoners to foreign countries on the president’s unilateral determination that the suspect is an enemy combatant. It defends the first amendment by clarifying that journalists are not to be prevented from publishing information received from the legislative or executive branch unless such publication would cause immediate, direct, and irreparable harm to the United States.

Finally, the legislation would prohibit the use of secret evidence to designate an individual or organization with a United States presence to be a foreign terrorist or foreign terrorist organization.

I invite my colleagues to join my efforts to restore the US Constitution by enacting the American Freedom Agenda Act of 2007.

I think it's a good idea. From his appearances thus far, Paul is the only one from his party (often booed)telling the truth!

In reponse, I think that Rudy should have a fleet of hot air baloons. That would be very characteristic. He should have them say, "RUDY 9/11 HERO MAYOR".

While our world is cooking

Clinton sings sweet words of hollow promises.

Rudy rages the fool.

And Dr. Paul stands for reason.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I left this humorous little site hours ago, and you two are STILL at it!!!

You know you are both here cuz you love to bait each other....I agree with Talcott, who said earlier: "You two should get a motel room"

Before I leave to more intelligent conversations on other sites, I have something to say to both of you:

To Galvestonians for Ron Paul:

I have several friends in the beautiful, historic city of Galveston. I will quote a friend of mine, ThomasJ. who is VERY active in the political scene in your city: "Yes, there's a group in Galveston supporting Ron Paul...they are about 24 irrational fanatics, and no one is paying much attention to them!"

To Misanthrope2:

You say you were a judge pro-tem, or whatever, and was anyone jealous?

Jealous would not be the word I choose - DISSAPPOINTED, SHOCKED...etc. That someone who proclaims to be SO intelligent can only come up with the asinine comments and comparisons you have exhibited on this site!!!!!!!!

Not only should the two of you get a room, you should both be blocked from posting!!!

I'm outta here!!!!
Have a nice day.......and get a life!!

To those who are interested. There is an other blog here that I think is much more suited for some of us..
Why should we even hit this negative, useless rant anyway...
600 hits on this article..
How absurd.
Its a stupid post anyway.
Basically Misanthrope will not be tolerated there by the blogger Matt Simon.
I suggest if you want some good information that is truthful, head on over there.

There's goes Huffpo again--smearing Ron Paul. I really love Ariana Huffington, but I wish she'd stop promoting writers and articles that are the same old, same old bipartisan bullshit. We're looking at Ron Paul's message in a new light, those of us former Democrats and disenfranchised Republicans. This is the beginning of a new world where people work together to accomplish the good for all. We take back the power we once entrusted to authority, which has been abused, and we empower ourselves. We don't decide what is good for everyone, we respect each person's individual liberties and rights. Let's get off the 1900's bandwagon of disempowerment and jump onboard the new millenium's movement toward freedom. Let's grow up, people!
