Sen. Lott is SUCH an honorable man, he understands why the new lobbying rules are going into effect January first. So, SURELY he will promise the American people (and his fellow Mississippians), who he holds in such high regard, that he is not quitting in order to circumvent those rules.
Afterall, circumventing the rules would be legal, it would just be ethically lower than whale poop, wouldn't it? And whoever contended that Lott wasn't a champion of ethics?!

All these Republicans are Cutting and Running, now that they have made a complete mess of our country.
