Perino Offers Comment On McClellan

November 26, 2007 12:51 PM

stumbleupon :Perino Offers Comment On McClellan   digg: Perino Offers Comment On McClellan   reddit: Perino Offers Comment On McClellan   del.icio.us: Perino Offers Comment On McClellan

There was no mention of Scott McClellan's book, What Happened, in this morning's press gaggle, but MSNBC is reporting today that White House Press Secretary Dana Perino did offer brief, "off camera" commentary.

Today at the off-camera briefing, White House Press Secretary Dana Perino said she has discussed Scott McClellan's forthcoming book with the president, and Perino said President Bush "has not and would not knowingly pass false information."

Naturally, one could imagine some potential follow-up questions. Like, "So, are you saying that the president is so out-of-touch with his own administration that members of his inner circle are regularly able to abuse his official mouthpiece in this way?" Or: "Can you state with any degree of confidence that you, yourself, have never been similarly misled?" But, heck, if you want imagination, you'll likely find nothing more entertaining than TBogg's "Brief History of Future Press Conferences." SPOILER ALERT: It involves Joe Lieberman, an invasion of Yemen, and "deep personal shame"...just like Nostradamus predicted!

Did you have to draw a picture of a book for Dufus, Ms Perino?

When will Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rice and Rumsfield be put in jail? It doesn't necessarily have to be in that order, just soon. Please!

Besides her vapidity, the quality that strikes me about Dana Perino is her naivity. There are very few true believers remaining in the hapless Bush. She is one.

The book is probably a pack of the same old same old with that one damning line everyone's been talking about...which will be revealed to have been "taken out of context."

So Bush and the congress will simply declare the book a "Manifest of Terror" and halt production. Truth is NOT allowed in Bush Country.

don't worry, Dana will do the same thing once she steps down or Bush is long gone. She will cash in what she knows, until then we have to
put up with her bull, which same as from Tony Snow, Scottie, and Ari. It is all about spin,
give the public something and they will do what they want to do. All these negative comments and news articles about this administration leaves them cold. They know we are just the people and we are expendable.

Um, Perino got assurances from Junior -- just like McClellan got assurances from Bush, Cheney, Rove and Scooter.

Different day, same puppet show.

Lott is in the "rent-a-boy" discrete Republican Gay-Denial Club.
White House Press Secretary Dana Perino is the current Paid Liar. So what else is new?

Looks like the M+M commercials: Melts in your mouth not in your hands.

Either that or he's proudly showing all ten fingers after shaking hands with GWB. Scotty: "See - I still got ALL of them!"

"President Bush "has not and would not knowingly pass false information."

Except lie to the country, invade another country under false pretext and kill millions of people.

Perino said President Bush "has not and would not knowingly pass false information."

"knowingly" is the legal out.

it means Bush can always play dumb...

and who wouldn't buy that.
