"He's an Ohio guy," said Bill Hemmer. "And I'm an Ohio guy. We Buckeyes stick together."

It was a recent Wednesday morning, and Mr. Hemmer, a native of Cincinnati, was sitting across from NYTV at a restaurant in the Muse Hotel on West 46th Street, talking about his boss Roger Ailes, the president of the Fox News Channel and scion of Warren, Ohio.

Until a few years ago, Mr. Hemmer and Mr. Ailes played on opposite sides of the ball. Mr. Hemmer, 43, made his name at CNN, where he rose quickly through the ranks over the course of a decade, reporting from the likes of Kosovo and Afghanistan and hosting a series of morning news shows.

Wasn't it Fox "news" who first manufactured and announced that Bush was the winner in Florida back in 2000, causing the rest of the networks to go into a tizzy, was Bush or Gore the winner? Wasn't that the start of the whole mess? Next time we should urge everyone to stay on guard in "08*, as they might just try to sway the election by announcing the "winner" first, and if they do, go stampede the network, and bang on the doors, like the gopers did in Miami to disrupt the re-count.

Hemmer was a selfish hack from day one at CNN. His pompous holier than thou attitude probably fits perfectly at Faux, though I'll never know for sure since I never, ever watch that shithole network.

They can all F**k themselves @Faux.

Oh, you're a business. Well I'm glad you cleared that up. I always thought you were a bad comedy troupe.

Um, sponsors count. Viewers don't count. Matter of fact, TV doesn't even count. As long as
the sponsors pay, then salaries get paid, and
all that. Turn your TV off today! Woohoo!
Balance THIS!

As a native Ohioan, I'm truly ashamed to learn Hemmer and Ailes are from my state.

It's a little comforting to know they're from the Cincinnati area. This is the place that has incubated a group that helped push through a law that forced strippers to be six feet away from their customers while performing.

What am I supposed to do with all these one-dollar bills?

This is so telling, Fox news is a bussiness. Now let me see what does reporting the news have to do with a business, one designed to keep viewers, Oh I know, lets make stuff up or manipulate the story to make it more interesting. Lets get our on air talkers to threaten cities with terrorist attacks and make up false wars against Christmas. Lets put reporters in Iraq to draw maps on the ground and get them kicked out of the country. Lastly lets report things wrong and never ever admit we are wrong, regardless of how much evidence is piled up to prove we were wrong. I would say if Fox news was the last news organization on the earth, I would read a book, take a walk, or do something, but never would I watch fox news I would be afraid it would make me stupid.

Fox represents a great tragedy unfolding in cable news. The journalists have become the story - they have achieved celebrity status and this influences their reporting style. This phenomenon is not unique to Fox - MSNBC carries this celebrity banner very well.

I won't miss Henner's sound-bites - that for sure. Another loser joining the Faux Noise with those blond fluffy bimbos. Just look at these fluffs reading the monitor. Do they even know what they are reading ? It's like reading a propaganda.
.
So they can read, big deal. But that is it ! The voices are monotone, no expressions or inflections what-so-ever. Seriously, just watch for 1 hour, and you'll notice these fluffy bimbos with their eye-lined lashes going up and down, and up and down like Barbie ! Then that familiar whitened-teeth-smile and "back to you Bill", eye lashes up and down, and up and down. Batting eyes marathon !
.
And when the camera is on a full room view, these Fluffs, crossed legs with their mini-skirts, and boy ! - that's the kind of news you are going to get ! Those legs are believed to be a substitute for NEWS. So go ahead, just visit them for an hour - you'll be cracking your ass off. And that's what they call substantive Faux Noise. LOL !
.
OK - getting serious here. For my morning news, I listen to NPR on my way to work, then at night, I rarely miss Jim Lehr News Hour at dinner time, and my favorite, Charlie Rose with a warm glass of Milk, with his very unique one to one interviews.
.
Maybe, just maybe, I will be better informed !

LOL !

Hemmer first replaced Anderson Cooper on CNN's American Morning. Then Cooper was the one who made it big. Hemmer was no loss for me, because I couldn't tolerate him. Both CNN and Fox are clones of eachother! I don't watch either of them!
