Paris Sets The Record Straight On Drunk Elephants

Paris Hilton was on "Ellen" today, and Ellen asked her about the rumors circulating a few weeks ago that Paris was embarking on a "Global Elephant Campaign" to save drunk elephants in India. The AP originally published the story, but then they killed it, leaving us very confused. Now, Paris sets the record straight:

I read that too. I'm like, "How would an elephant get alcohol in the first place? Why would I talk about that? Why would I care if an elephant got drunk? Can an elephant get drunk?" I've never talked about that in my life.

Paris added in a few shots at the press, saying, "They always put words in my mouth, all over the press, all the time." She also explained how these rumors start: mean, bored people on the computer just make them up! But while a younger Paris found these stories hurtful, now she just laughs. "It's literally comedy," she told Ellen.
