The trucking heiress, who last month was spotted smooching with Paul McCartney in the Hamptons, returned to her more mundane task of fixing a hole in the MTA's budget.

It was her first board meeting since her whole world went helter-skelter after being linked to the ex-Beatle.

Drawing stares from many of those in attendance, Shevell, 47, let her long brown hair cover her face for much of the meeting, and kept her voice barely audible as she voted to approve countless million-dollar contracts.
