Upon reflection, you're correct Darwinta; your argument is as sound as your spelling. Say, aren't you the "moron" who did the "Leave Britney Alone!" video on YouTube?
Paparazzi are scum.
Good one. That guy in the car acted like he was going to shit his pants. Jack Out.
Good. Maybe she should have her own Taser and give these Aholes a jolt in the ass. I mean its one thing to go after photos, but these clowns get really crazy, and especially when kids are involved. Weve already seen the kind of shit that can happen when the paparazzi's are in pursuit. I just can imagine they would run over a few kids to get the dollar shot.
all the sad grinchy crudmudgeons here, can't give the heroic act the praise it is due. Excellent work Julia.
I remember a poster years ago with Willie Nelson on it. He had a huge smile on his face, his arms crossed, and saying;
"Being a movie star sure beats working".
You can't have it both ways.
"Watch me on Oprah", "watch me (stink) on Broadway", "buy the magazines that pay me way too much money to be interviewed", "read my words, care what I say", but "fuck off when I don't want you around".
You are a star (celebrity) or not 24/7, not only when someone is paying you.
Perhaps it's time to make laws to prevent the paparazzi from stalking people! I"d be pissed too if I had people following me around and filming my every move.
So, how many OTHER PEOPLE'S children did she endanger by chasing this photographer down the street with HER vehicle?
Celebrities are amazing. They really don't have any sense of proportion or regard for their fellow humans. It's all about THEM and THEIR precious kids.
Are you telling me Pretty Mom couldn't take down the license plate, call in a favor and have the photographer tracked down by cops, to give him the same information?
This is just a movie star hothead acting out. If she is truly concerned for the safety of kids, she ought to DRIVE SLOWER.
Good for her. Next she will have to chase down all the folks who are so screwed up they think that being a celebrity is all it's cracked up to be. These folks sadly need to explore life a bit more, she is an entertainer . . .
Everyone, please stop clicking on links and videos that show movie star's children and maybe there would be no desire to take the pictures.just quit looking.
Well, this little incident got Julia in the news again. She can't act her way out of a paper bag and in her movies has about as much expression as a sheet of stainless steel.
If rags like People and US magazine hadn't had her on the cover for years on end, her career would have died.
As for the parking issue: I saw the link: take a look at the blue lines painted on the asphalt AND the curb. Yes, she was clearly in a handicapped spot.
At the same time, someone made the comment that 1) she was getting in on the passenger side and 2) "the photographer took care not to photograph the rear view mirror as it might actually show a legit handicap placard, and I"m willing to guess that it was a temporary one, (if it was for her)."
The video here: The photographer shouldn't have been by the school zone, but at the same time, Ms. Roberts shouldn't have taken the law into her own hands by crossing the double-yellow line to get at him. Still, at least she had the grace to demand he turn off the camera.
So, everybody's Wrong.
Well done Julia!
So many posters here complaining about the
amount of money you make on one movie.
How about the amount of money payed out for
deals for your athletes?
We pay to see their movies.
It is a choice we make.
Their private lives should remain private.
Oh, and isn't it quite interesting how a gossip TV show tries to blame her for it, but then has to turn around and defend her in the weakest way possible? They KNOW they are guilty of peddling the crap that makes stalkarazzi big $$$ and they don't like being told to stop.
