Democratic Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign helped recommend several of the donations his political action committee made in recent months to politicians in key primary states as the campaign was working to secure endorsements, campaign officials said yesterday.

The acknowledgment alters the campaign's original account of how donations were directed and raised questions among some legal experts about whether the presidential committee was using Obama's leadership PAC to benefit his campaign. The Obama campaign said it is confident it complied with the law.

Why hasn't the Huffington Post carried Paul Krugman's column yesterday on Obama? Obama would lose a lot of support if people knew where he stands on the issues.

Look...Obama is not as clean as he wanted people to believe! Bottom line is this..Obama is UNELECTABLE!

He CANNOT win a single state down south and that's a FACT!

Either a lot of you admit it or not, USA is still a racist country. If you're only reason to vote for Obama because he's black totally disregarding his record, you're a FOOL!

People nowadays look at track record of the person. He's only 3 years junior US senator, out of the 3 years as US senator, he missed 80% of the vote in Capitol Hill!

he also needs to change his story on his so called universal health care plan for Americans. It does not cover all Americans.

In today"s New York Times, noted Economist Paul Krugman wrote that Sen. Obama proposed "a relatively weak, incomplete health care plan. Although [Sen. Obama] declared, in his speech announcing the plan, that "my plan begins by covering every American," it didn"t " and he shied away from doing what was necessary to make his claim true."

Health care author Jonathan Cohn looked at the data and concluded that, under the most optimistic scenario, Sen. Obama"s plan would leave "15 million people who are uninsured." The Washington Post reached a similar conclusion, finding that Sen. Obama"s plan would not cover "a third" of the 47 million Americans who are currently uninsured.

Additionally, a constellation of the nation"s top health care experts " including MIT"s Jonathan Gruber, the Kaiser Family Foundation"s Diane Rowland and the Urban Institute"s John Holland " have concluded that plans like Sen. Obama"s, which does not include a requirement for all Americans to have health care, would leave a substantial portion of the American public without coverage.

Even Sen. Obama himself has admitted that his plan would not cover everyone, calling the plan "virtually universal." Your top health care advisor, David Cutler, acknowledged that Sen. Obama"s plan could leave "significant pockets" of people uninsured and said Sen. Obama would "deal with that when the time comes, possibly by mandating insurance."

"Most other presidential candidates shuttered their PACs."

Hm, I wonder what other presidential candidates didn't.

Ah, what's the matter, is the Obama-Rama just now learning that Santa Claus doesn't really exist?

:'-(

-Grow up Obama-Rama; your candidate is FAR from being perfect and is just as politically ambitious as the rest, so get off your holier-than-thou high horse.

Yawn... FEC said everything is legit regarding Obama's PAC. Can we move on the next Hillary/Republican mounted attack on Obama so we can debunk that as well? Obama... Inevitable? Judging from the continuous petty attacks coming from all sides, I'd say Hillary and the Repubs are starting to think so.

Barack Obama represents a new type of politics. I don't think it is fair to judge him the way that other politicians are judged. He is just to good looking, hip and charismatic to be just by old politics of usual, which looks at experience, charachter, ethics and policy.

The Washington Post is confusing itself with the New York Post. Or maybe they were recently bought by the Enquirer?

A rational intellect should recoil at the nonsensical responses to such superficial articles from which mindless polemics obscure the myriad of significant issues which should be our collective civic concerns. Relevancy seems remote on this particular post, but is equally, nay more obscure on the Clinton contemporary rage. Huffpost and the MSM should reflect on McLuhan's premise that the medium must not obscure the message; unfortunately the medium has become the message.

Hmmmmm. If this were a story about Hillary's campaign, it would be a huge front page Huffpo HEADLINE.

Word up, Hillary Clinton is planning no more attacks on Barack Obama as this may turn off some of the Iowa voters. She is content to let the WPo do the dirty deed for her, after all they have a much larger audience and are more effective at it.

At long last Hillary has her defining issue, Obama makes contributions to Democrats candidates. This issue is really going to annoy most Democrats, especially in Iowa and NH. Why isn"t Obama making those contributions to Republican candidates instead. Hmmmmmmmmm
