Ron Paul may not win his party's primary, but he is on track to capture another big title: top Republican fundraiser for the final quarter of the money-obsessed 2008 presidential primary.

In the first two months of the quarter that began Oct. 1, Paul already has raised more than $9.75 million, putting him easily within range to best the amount rival Mitt Romney received from donors during the entire third quarter.

Dismiss Dr. Paul at your own peril.

The neo cons and dems have felt the sting of his bite before, right here in Galveston, on their home turf!
Not too long ago, 5-6 yrs I think, the neo cons courted the only democratic challenger and asked him to jump ship and come to their side, and run as a republican, UNOPPOSED!
Well, that was all fine and good, but Dr. Paul never agreed to this!
See Dr. Paul has been pissing off Democrats here for years.
He will not give them their tax and spend.
He brings NO pork!(NEVER an Earmark)
He will not even vote a pay raise for them! NEVER!
In 20 years!
He also is extremely hated by most of the Republican party as well, for going against almost all their votes.

Well the neos spent over a million dollars in this particular campaign to unseat him and Dr. Paul still won by a 15% margin!
With 97% of his contributions coming from individuals.
That fact alone is note worthy in this big oil district.
He fights them every step of the way!
They keep saying (dems) he gives NOTHING to our district "How does he keep getting elected"?
He brings NO pork, he will vote "nay" on all our district spending bills?
How does he do it?

The the Neos say, he wont take big oil money.
He is clean as a whistle.
He cant be bought.
He has won every time.
HOW??

You really must live in this district to REALLY appreciate Dr. Paul and his never ending defense of my civil rights and the protection of the constitution.
Looks like there must be a constitution problem..
Otherwise, unless its an economic problem I dont think he would run for office..

It must be one of those two things wrong for him to run.
He has practiced all his life on these to things and actually walks the walk.

Go see what his coffers have reached, real-time!
The avg donation is around $40!

Paul Wins Virginia Straw Poll

Ron Paul vanquished the competition in the annual Virginia GOP retreat straw poll by collecting 182 votes (38%). Despite having former senator George Allen and current Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonald speaking on his behalf, Fred Thompson managed only 112 votes (23%). While Mike Huckabee, who was represented by his wife, finished a distant third with 51 votes (11%).

Several long-time Republican leaders including conservative icon Morton Blackwell complemented the Paul campaign on their strong organization and mobilization efforts, according to Ron Paul National Field Director Dennis Fusaro, who spoke on Dr. Paul's behalf at the event. Fusaro went on to say that, while this reflects the organizational strength of the Paul campaign around the country, it is essential that Virginia Ron Paul Republicans replicate this turn-out on a county-by-county basis at next year's mass meetings. Fusaro went on to congratulation the grassroots for, once again, coming out to support Dr. Paul in an unprecedented manner.

Virginia GOP Retreat Straw Poll Results:

Ron Paul 182 (38%)

Fred Thompson 112 (23%)

Mike Huckabee 51 (11%)

Rudy Guiliani 45 (9%)

Mitt Romney 43 (9%)

John McCain 23 (5%)

Duncan Hunter 19 (4%)

Tom Tancredo 4 (

Sure are a lot of people who have Ron Paul confused with someone else. He is the only principled guy among the bunch.
If you don't know that, you don't know much about Ron Paul.

A quote from Paul Amos: "And one thing our recent travels have highlighted is the declining value of the US dollar overseas. From airfare to lodging to guides, the dollar just doesn"t buy what it used to." No matter who you support for president, one thing is certain, Ron Paul is the one who has loudly supported streghtening the U.S.D.. This is only one election but at a time when the U.S. Dollar is in serious decline. No smoke screen will save it - only a very dedicated and serious administrator. We need a president who is able to maek changes. George Washington wasn't the most popular person - but was considered neccessary to strenghten the nation. Democracy or Dictatorship we are a large population under a Federated governement. It will take more than is being touted to hold it together and bring it forward.

Hey, Ron Paul's not supposed to win! It's suppose to be Giuliani or that Mormon guy on one side and Hillary on the other. Hey, the money and the media have already put the fix in. And what"s with this Huckabee fellow? The Religious Right is suppose to vote for who"s selected not find their own. What"s going on here? Next thing you know Kucinich will poll above 1% and that will be carrying Democracy too far.

A spoiled little kid who had everything handed to him, who is homophobic, authoritarian, uneducated and think he knows it all.

That about sums it up."

Galls reply:
My knowledge comes from my head and my studies.
NOT A WIKIPEDIA LINK.

I have DEBUNKED you several times and this is where your anger comes from.

I do know it all, when it comes to you!
Ive met several just like you!
I have studied your use of words.
I have studied how you are condescending to people.(not much anymore, because I laid you out)
You refer to your degree as a "sciencing degree" and "sciencing" is not even a word.
You have misspelled "Isreal" at least 30 times.
In your field, I find this very strange.

I watch your uneducated, hyped responses.
I read things that are so over the top, a third grader would call you out!

More importantly, no one came to your defense when I asked if anyone knew if your profile was true. 10 times I asked on different threads...No response...NOT 1 !!!how long have you been here? 3 years...4....
I even pasted your whole profile for all to see and deleted half of it and posted it about 10 times...
You never even noticed whole paragraphs of your so called education was missing.
I deleted about half of your resume before posting it the same way every time...
Yet, never a mention from you.
This alone would have proven to me..
That is sooo out of character for you not to attack for something that should have been immediately noticed and disputed.
You never even noticed,...
Now localman comes through with my last and final "BOOM" for you.
You never said any of those things that you said above to me!
I questioned your profile at least a hundred times, yet never a mention of your incredible IQ and your devout accomplishments.

NOT A WORD.

All you said was

"my profile is true"

FINAL DEBUNKING 12/1/07 localman.

Funny how the mainstream media made such a big stink about how clinton raised more money than obama, or how much money thompson had before he was even a candidate and how kucinich could never be a serious candidate because he can't raise enough money, but they don't recognize Paul's widespread appeal based on his ability to raise money. Instead they cloak it in bullshit about how it's all young people sending in the dough and they notoriously don't vote anyway. Spin, spin, spin till ron paul takes your T notes away.

AP 12/1/07

ARLINGTON, Va. - Ron Paul won an informal straw poll of Virginia Republicans Saturday at the state party's annual weekend retreat.

The Texas congressman got 182 of the 479 ballots cast, or 38 percent. Former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson finished second with 112 votes, with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee third with 51.

Dozens of noisy Paul followers packed the late afternoon speeches by proxies for the candidates in a suburban Washington, D.C., hotel and the voting afterward.

"They weren't here yesterday," said state GOP chairman John Hager. About 700 Republican activists registered for the Friday and Saturday event. "We had no indication until around 3 o'clock that this would happen."

Mitt Romney got 43 votes, Sen. John McCain got 23, California congressman Duncan Hunter got 19 and Colorado congressman Tom Tancredo finished with four votes.

America is about to see the true power of its people!

Stay tuned!
