Hillary Clinton

Wall Street Journal:

She's the ultimate professional woman. So you'd think Hillary Clinton's biggest source of support would be other alpha females.

But as the New York senator's presidential campaign works to mobilize women executives, doctors and lawyers around America, it's getting a reality check: Many have resisted the call-up. So far, she's doing better among women of more modest means.

I completely admire Senator Clinton and what she has achieved. It never ceases to amaze me how critical people are of her. How could a Clinton presidency be any worse than what we've had for 7 miserable years?

Anyway, re: female "CEO's" not supporting Senator Clinton: guess what? Very few so-called serious execs have the courage to admit in front of their other greedy colleagues that they 1) don't believe in the almighty 'free market,' and 2) honestly believe that government has an important role to play in our ever-more-complex society.

Those without courage would rather live in a horrible world (the one we're heading for now) than let their colleagues think that that they think of anything other than themselves.

My favorite Presidents (and politicians in general) have always been the ones who weren't in bed with the establishment--the ones you could tell spoke for themselves and said what they thought no matter what. I think a lot of intelligent people feel that way; consider how Al Gore's personal ratings have soared since he quit being a mouthpiece for the DNC and became his own man.

That said, I have not yet heard anything come out of Hilary Clinton's mouth that isn't calculated, vetted, and just obtuse enough to not actually answer the question. I have no idea what she thinks about anything, really, but I do have a pretty good idea how she operates: under the table.

We don't need another president like that.

Didn't they get the memo?
Hillary is a woman so they have to vote for her.

Bush also fared better with the less educated, but at least he didn't sound like he was talking down to them the way Hillary does. Clinton also was able to talk the podunk talk. Bush's mommy on the other hand was an obviously contemptuous bitch, but then again, she wasn't the one running.

The media has selected the uninspired candidates to lead the pack. Huckabee has emerged somehow from the seconod tier to a front runner. That shows you that it can be done, but will it happen on the democratic side? It seems that the voting public has had enough of both parties: the do wrong party and the do nothing party. What's behind door number three?

"The feedback from attendees, says senior campaign adviser Ann Lewis, was "less rah-rah, more substance."

I thought Ann Lewis was working for Obama campaign. It is interesting that how the HuffPost uses headlines to undermine Hillary.

This looks like the soon to be Murdoch controlled WSJ is hassling the future boss who has been supporting her Hillaryship with donations with ABC [Anybody But Clinton] dreck.

The Wall Street Journal. Oh yea. This is garbage. Hard working CEOs who are women will probably not even vote Democratic.

The reason is simple. These hard working women CEO's had to earn their way to the top... Hillary married into it. And nobody likes it when someone gets a free ride. And that's Ms. Clinton... She's hardly the poster child for hard work and dililgence... She's just along for the ride, thanks to the press. D.
