Typical American "Justice". In any other country he never would have been found guilty of a criminal offense on the facts of this case, gross negligence perhaps but not criminality. For Heaven's sake he was following a procedure he had followed in many other transactions without any of them being considered illegal but suddenly these two are illegal. Anyone in business knows that a principal's ability to compete with a business being sold is of extreme importance to eliminate if you want the sold business to do well and that is what he was doing, agreeing for a fee not to compete. Brother no wonder you have such a schizoid culture!
