CBS News:

As Congress seeks answers about why the CIA destroyed tapes of terror suspects under interrogation, White House lawyers have advised President Bush's spokeswoman not to answer specific questions about the matter.

The U.S. Justice Department and the Central Intelligence Agency's internal watchdog are conducting a joint inquiry into the spy agency's destruction of videotaped interrogations of two suspected terrorists, to determine whether a full investigation is warranted. With that review ongoing, the White House counsel's office has instructed Mr. Bush's press secretary, Dana Perino, not to get into details with reporters.

Bless me father for I have dreamed that Karl Rove was waterboarded and he confessed that Dana Perino is the first virtual press secretary. That would account for the high school-level rapport and sickeningly flat affect. Is this her first job? She did not know what the Cuban Missile Crisis was? This administration is embarrassing beyond belief but the people who are even more unbelievable are the ones who make up the 25% remaining die-hard supporters. We are so screwed. Interesting that the reason given in the CIA tape-destruction was the fear of revealing the identity of a CIA agent. I guess the Bush administration revealing Valerie Plame's identity was pretty bad, then. Right.

White House Goes Silent On Destroyed CIA Tapes - administration handlers know that MSM will keep dumping "happy-pills" of bullshit pseudo-news into the heads of the public until they simply forget.

Delay, duplicity, obsfucation, pettifoggery, bald-faced lying and utter bullshit are tools that have worked very well for Bush/Cheney over the past seven years.

The question remains, what does our country do with all of the liars and petty criminals this vile administration will dump onto the streets when their term ends?

For an indicator, watch what happens to the traitor Karl Rove?

Perino's ignorance just reflects on the intelligence of her boss too. They are dumb lot over there in the WH, that is why this nation is in the mess it is in today.
The Bush regime have got away with everything, even murder, and no one can, or will, do anything about it. They have tortured, murdered innocent Iraqi's, and even been secretive about an American woman being gang raped, and still there is no outrage.
Bill Clinton had so much grief over his affair with another woman, and here we have the Bush regime breaking every rule in the book, and dangerously so, but there is not outcry, no impeachment proceedings, not even a whisper of holding them accountable. Didn't we get rid of Saddam for doing similar stuff?

So what? A scandal a day keeps impeachment away.

In another day and another presidents watch we would have the president calling for a special investigator to clear up everything so the right/wrong done would be crystal clear. This group just wants to spin what comes out of this as a democrat issue just like the NIE report on Iran. Funny how the guys who left Congress for not such good reasons are pulled into the spotlights to rail on the democrats. They have all crawled out and are pounding on whoever they can to get attention. They might not have the power anymore but you can't tell it by the mouth action.

O say, can you see, by the neocon's early blight,
What so proudly we hailed at the US's last gleaming,
Whose broad liars and thiefs, through the perilous fight,
O’er the Treasury we watched, were so gallantly plundering?
And the presidents’ terror scare, the bombs bursting in Iraq,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was now shit.
O say, does that star spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the brainwashed, and the home of the tame?

Play ball Neotards, ain't nothing left worth cherishing.

These 'destroyed CIA Tapes', these were the tapes referrenced about three dozen times in "THE 9/11 REPORT" book, right? The tapes that all The 9/11 Commission Officials saw (& wrote about), right?

SO WHAT'S THE BIG FUGGIN' DEAL?

This is quoted from August 10th 2007, Democracy Now and Newsweek on Joe Biden who hasn't been asleep at the wheel on Bush/Cheney crimes

"Sen. Biden Suggests Criminal Charges Against Bush Officials
Impeachment has been making headlines recently in the city of Kent, Ohio. Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Joe Biden has suggested criminal charges could someday be filed against members of the Bush administration. In a recent interview with Newsweek, Biden said there are alternatives to the impeachment of President Bush. Biden said: "I think we should be acquiring and accumulating all the data that is appropriate for possibly bringing criminal charges against members of this administration at a later date."

Joe Biden can stated repeatedly before the CIA tapes turned up missing that he will prosecute anyone who knowingly ordered torture for the past 8 years. Please note the above article in Democracy Now was written in August of 2007 form a quote from Newsweek of the same time period. Joe Biden has stated that on day 1 of his administration, he would close Guatanomo Prison and begin these investigation. He said in November, before any of this news on the destroyed tapes hit the press.

If you tell too many lies, it will become impossible for all of the presidents lying, liars to remember all of the lies as exemplified by Perino's verbal stammering about when Bush learned of the aborted Iranian nuclear weapons program. It's not hard to tell
when she is lying because she usually says "I'll have to get back to you on that"- which she never does.

The police always say when a suspect refuses to talk, you know you're close. If they push hard, my guess is the house of cards will fall. Too many things have happened and there doesn't seem anywhere to run
