Mike Huckabee, who has joked about his lack of foreign policy experience, is criticizing the Bush administration's efforts, denouncing a go-it-alone "arrogant bunker mentality" and questioning decisions on Iraq.

Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor now running for the Republican presidential nomination, lays out a policy plan that is long on optimism but short on details in the January-February issue of the journal Foreign Affairs, which is published by the Council on Foreign Relations. A copy of his article was released Friday.

He sure is weird, he even looks like Richard Nixon.

Where does the GOP dig up these "candidates"?

There are some intelligent admittedly leading questions that from my view need to be asked of this preacher turned Politian. These should be asked in a context where the answers would not be allowed to be ambiguous.

1) Do you believe demons are influencing humankind?
2) If so are there consorting witches?
3) The books of Matthew and Mark, Luke, John differ, particularly in regards to events surrounding (one example) the crucifixion though they give great detail. Matthew reports there was an earthquake … the bodies of many of the saints that slept, arose, and came out of their graves after the resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. The book of Mark, John and Luke fails to mention this significant detail. So which one is true?
4) Mark says Jesus ascended in Jerusalem, Luke Says Bethany. Which one is true?
5) If you accept that authorities bearing the cross have been wrong about the world being flat, the earth being the center of the universe, the murder of Hypatia, the deadly and rapacious pogroms against Jews, the many inquisitions, witch trials, finding biblical rationalizations to justify slavery, the concordat with Hitler (Pious XI), and the recent persecution of muslims in the former Yugoslavia etc. etc, is it reasonable to question that religion is any kind relevant qualification for leadership?
Far too often religion gets a pass because these things are uncomfortable. If these questions are not asked is this not disrespecting those tens of millions who suffered and died?

If America ever makes the mistake of giving power to a "man of God", we're fucked for good.

Too late, Bumblebee, you lose!

The only Republicans that can be taken seriously when they criticize the Bush Administration would be ones that were criticizing them 3 years ago. Wait, there weren't a whole lot of them back then...because they were acting as ENABLERS. But, it's nice that Bumblebee can come clean, even if it's an election cycle and he wants to exploit the current president's epically bad approval ratings.

Let us all gather on the mountaintops, singing and praising the Lord as we jump joyfully from the frying pan into the fire.

You know the biggest irony about Huckabee?

He is the one to most likely give us Universal Health Care. He knows how to work with Democrats, because he really is one. The Republicans will rue the day they supported him. He will double cross them because he double crosses everybody, except the Lord. He loves those zygotes, and hates the gays.

Everyone please relax. He's not planning to be president for very long. The Rapture is coming soon. Pay close attention to his VP choice before hyper-ventilating.

if Huckabee gets the Republican nomination with Ed Rollins, as his campaign manager then the Democratic nominee should hire Henry Rollins.
