Tony Snows War

Think Progress:

Former White House press secretary Tony Snow is apparently attempting to remake himself into the image of Bill O'Reilly. In a series of recent public events, Snow has adopted the mantle of the right-wing's perceived "secular-progressive" war on conservatives.

Last Friday in an address to the Academy of Leadership & Liberty at Oklahoma Christian University, former White House Press Secretary Tony Snow launched a rhetorical broadside against college faculties in America and mourned this nation's "war on God." Oklahoma City Friday reports:

Looks are deceiving, aren't they? He looks intelligent; he's personable, yet, within his bleeding heart, he's saying things which are bound to create pain and friction within America. Here he is, part of the great American majority of those ignorant of the facts, and he feels threatened by a teeny tiny minority. I think it's because he knows, like Popes of old, where the current Galilean facts are leading us.

That's the problem with right-wingers. They have this idea that if you'd only recognize God's authority you'd recognize their authority as God's representatives on Earth.

These people are the lie, the bush/cheney/snow/o'reily conservatives,
thay brought us the 'occupation' in Iraq, millions dead, with their faith based bribe for the mindless Christian vote.

There is a tax free church on just about every corner in america. there is a bible planted like the propaganda that it is in every single hotel/motel room in the country, and if thats not bad enough we have to continue the hear lieing pucks like snow complain that they are being picked on.
These christians are why we have a war in Iraq

For the more right wing fundie Christians, being persecuted is part of the religion (John 15:20-ff, etc.). They MUST be persecuted or they aren't living right. They then perceive any slight as persecution.

Give me a break, churches are on every corner, get special tax breaks, etc. If they were truly being persecuted I would be standing right next to them defending them.

Get over it Tony...

Thou shalt not bear false witness.

What about THAT one, Tony?

Who's making the assault on God when they lie to the entire American public?

What a F**** hypocrite.
