The saddest part of Bush finally admitting the claim that Saddam had WMDs is that he is still in office rather than standing in the dock being tried for what has since befallen the victims. Bush seems to be a resident of another planet as seen when he visits soldiers maimed in HIS war with tears in his eyes. If only our mainstream news media would be as reliable as is the web in protesting this misadventure in the distant sands it would be helpful. Has any paper published graphic photos of soldiers whose "faces" are now prosthetic plastic? Or the one war wound that none seem to dare speak its' name: amputations resulting in the loss of male genitalia?

Big George doesn't look very happy in the photo. Must have had his AA meeting delivered Wednesday night.

In spite of his robo-Republican minority Congress, raising and lowering their black-clothed arms in perfect sync, Bush continues his slide deeper and deeper into the presidential cellar. It's becoming so hard to find anyone who will admit they voted for him that it is beginning to appear as though he won with less than a quarter of all votes cast.

He said he wouldn't forget the people of New Orleans after Katrina, but did; he said he wouldn't forget the people of San Diego after the fires, but did; he said he wanted to be a compassionate conservative, and is. And now that we know what a compassionate conservative is, we've silently banned rogues of that sort for as long as we and our children remember the new Republican word for a wannabe lawless dictator.

bush was given this information in March 2003 by Hans Blix and Scott Ritter. Will he now be giving them PEACE medals for being absolutely correct prior to the unwarrented invasion of Iraq???

Look at the picture at the top of the page. Has there ever been a deader pair of eyes in the oval office? Can you see the soul in those eyes as Bush once said of Putin? Nothing to see here folks, just keep moving. What a sad little halfman.

"I don't have confidence in the president. I don't have confidence in the vice president. And I don't have confidence in the Justice Department. That's as simple as I can put it," said Biden, a 2008 presidential contender.

Biden appeared on CNN's "Late Edition." on Sunday 12/16/07

To make light of the lies that sent USA troops to war is twisted humor that most likely sickens the families of those who have lost sons and daughters on assignment. Media commentators reporting this event amplify the ugliness by laughing along. These views represent the worst of America. It’s time for people to stand and eclipse these grotesque attitudes so that our more positive qualities prevail.

Obviously the deciders's sense of humour was always misunderestimated. The picture however is priceless. Only Jim Carrey can do this kind of face.

Intellectual pygmies and cognitively-challenged nincompoops learn very, very slowly and late, at times at the cost of innocent lives. Very sad.

Now thats a picture of a man of great insight and wisdom. Just add it to his album

The room breaks into laughter!!!!!! How many have died as a result of this jokers lies!!! The best we can do now is LAUGH!!! I don't think our dead and injured soldiers are laughing. Neither are the many innocent Iraqi's who have been killed, injured and tortured because of the lies of our government and the media!

As others have pointed out the President's irresponsible Comments revealed TWO important points -

1 - Iraq did not have nuclear weapons. Something Bush revealed in 2004. Yet, we went to war, anyway.

2 - Bush alleges Iran HAS nuclear weapons! Which is completely unproven and refuted by our own intelligence community.

This man is completely unfit to be President! And please note that no one in a position of power, trust and authority is demanding he step down.

Permit me to be the first regular citizen - Mr. President, you appear to be a scatter-brained idiot and for the good of our country. Please step down!

I would be more impressed if this guy would speak in front of the Parents, wives, husbands, children, brothers and sisters of the military men and woman who have died or been maimed in Iraq, I'll bet Jr. wouldn't have the balls to appear, he would be pummeled off the stage with people throwing crap at him.
This man is soleless!

A lot of people died to create this laughter.
But perhaps that's the best we can do.
We are obviously incapable of forethought; we ignored the obvious and allowed Bush's masters to gain control of our country.
We are obviously incapable of reason; we cannot put the facts together and see for whose benefit our policy was concocted.
And so, we will have as our next president a moral copy of Dubya. Can you guess who she will be?
I'll give you a hint: her bosom buddy from Connecticut is on kissing terms with the president. And I doubt thaat they are even cousins!
