Standing on the banks of the chilly Mississippi River in Davenport, Iowa, Mitt Romney gave a great big political bear-hug to President Bush. Praising the president's foreign policy, Romney said, "I believe that our president has acted in good faith, and in an effort to protect his country, and do everything in his power to keep America safe."

"I don't have confidence in the president. I don't have confidence in the vice president. And I don't have confidence in the Justice Department. That's as simple as I can put it," said Biden, a 2008 presidential contender.

Biden appeared on CNN's "Late Edition." on Sunday 12/16/07

Why wouldn't he, he has no experience with it. What a poor choice though.

Hi,

What does Mitt Romney think about the one percent solution? The US will go to war if there is even a one percent chance that a country is a threat to us?

This is VP Cheney's view of the world; is it Mitt Romney's??

What do U think??

Republicans, especially the ones exclaiming their piety, love killing other people. Nothing else need be known about them.

....foreign policy while lying about his father's civil rights record. Bush replied, "Who you gonna believe, a religious man or history?"

that's fine, knowing his record, he will be against it anytime soon....

Mitt is a sh*t, but a very smart man. He is trying to win the R primary. Though Independents and Ds revile Bush, 76% of Rs still support the corrupt chimp. Those are the folks Romney needs right now. A very smart strategic move on his part. He will say anything to get elected. A genteel chameleon.

Yeeeessssssss! Mitt! MItt! Mitt! Future ruler of the alternative universe. He looks around and starts asking himself, "Who can I pattern myself after? Which politician (American politician, natch!) has had the most successful foreign policy of them all?''
"Hmmmmmm...... Ronald Reagan? Umm, Noooooo. Rudy is hogging that one. Richard Nixon? Wellllllllll--probably not. Really were some questions about his church affiliation. Bill Clinton? No, no, no, no, no. Wait! Euricka, I've got it. George Bush is clearly the best!" (buzzer sounds, broken cymbal crash, groans from his advisors).
Great choice, Mitt! Consistency--that's what we love in a presidential candidate.

Knock me over with a water board and call me Eva Braun. Mitler will do ANYTHING for a conservative vote, except maybe that thing Bush supporters like to do with sheep.

I have watched this "so-called election" with a mixture of casual disinterest and morbid, gut-wrenching fear.

Has no "man OR woman, ages 18 to FORTY-TWO" (i.e. "I want YOU!") not stopped by http://thomas.loc.gov and read the "National Service Act of 2007?" Or stopped by the puffy web-site for it, http://www.nationalservice.org, and peered through the muck and the mire?

I love to read history. And it was just this way before, say, the American Civil War, when they brought picnic-baskets to the First Battle of Manassas and sat on a hillside to watch what the politicians told them would be "a brief show."

And yet, you dutifully pin your hopes, upon some future savior with a deer-in-the-headlights look... Incomprehending of the coming disaster until it was too late.

I suggest that you turn OFF the war-games on your Wii, or your son's or your daughter's, and truly contemplate what the next year, even the next month may bring to this country.

This could be the last Christmas you get to spend together.

"I believe that our president has acted in good faith, and in an effort to protect his country, and do everything in his power to keep America safe."

but

I'll only say this to get votes. My sons and I don't really believe. We DO believe in POWER and the ALMIGHTY dollar.

I personally find it quite awesome that Mitt has committed political suicide.
