Is THAT what he wanted me to understand? The only message I heard was that literally marched with Dr. King, and that he literally saw his father march with Dr. King. If Mr. Romney wanted me to understand he was giving figurative descriptions he could easily have spoken clearly. Since he didn't, and since his clarification was withheld until AFTER the facts of his misleading remarks became public, I get the feeling he was trying to fool me again.

I thought I heard one President say "Don't get fooled again." Probably the only smart thing he said.

And what's the deal with Romney pronouncing his name "Romneh" in his ads? Is he trying to sound like a humble Suthnuh? Is there anything authentic about this weirdly artificial man?

Romney is a crazy right wing nutbag Mormon that will spend all of his ill earned fortune, and say anything to get elected.

Uh, pardon me--and I hate to say it because Romney sickens me--but Huffpost has provided an absolutely asinine article title, once again. The point: George Romney was an ardent supporter of civil rights, and marched in Grosse Pointe at the very least on the next Saturday after King's appearance in a similarly-themed march. If he did not march on a Sunday, it is perfectly plausible that his reason for doing so involved the Sabbath.

So what's the story here? Do you think Romney actually remembers the day in question? Or do you think he was simply told this over the years, given a slightly-skewed version each time, as so many family memories are told?

There may well be a second medical reason from Mitt's "misstatements"(first is below at 8:43): Each summer Mitt, his wife and kids and their spouses and kids go to a clinic, I believe in the desert in Arizona, for their annual "Stepford Treatment". This is the medical procedure that ensures that the family has plenty of dough, good teeth, perfect spouses, and perfect kids. During the session, Mitt discovered a pimple on his ass, and had the surgeon popped it. It turns out that the little pimple was Mitt's sole remaining source of conscience. The nasty tissue used to soak it up was turned over to the Mormon Tabernacle and now is kept in a climate-controlled room with the Golden Tablets. So stop blaming Mitt.
