I guess I'm just a shill for Fox... but I love Alan's radio show and blog. As liberal radio shows go, he's very entertaining and nice to those that are nice to him.

Compare him to someone like Randi Rhodes, who fires off transphobic slurs like they are candy (especially in the name all things Ann Coulter), she's the Limbaugh of the left....

Why is it that one of the liberal spokespersons that normal people can actually like gets so much hatred around here? Colmes is a nice guy, he talks like a man who has a clue, he makes his point eloquently and without insulting every other living soul around him. He is a great speaker and his radio show is the ONLY liberal talk show I can bear. He constantly rips his conservative callers to shreds in a way that should make most of you proud, but instead you insult him. What, do you want ALL liberals to come across as rabid dogs? Is that the ONLY way to make your point?

Scottarino is correct. If you listen to his radio show, it's really good. He is smart,fast and usually eviscerates any rightie who comes on. I don't know his performance on Fakes News since I don't watch. Also, the blog isn't very secret. He plugs it every night on his radio show.

As was noted in earlier posts, and in far more eloquent a fashion, Alan Colmes is no more than The Washington Generals to Sean Hannity's Harlem Globetrotters. It takes "theater of the absurd" to the ultra-insubstantial end of the spectrum.

I have heard Alan Colmes' radio show. A good part of it involves Colmes frenetically swatting at willfully ignorant idiots who have found a way to follow him over from his Fox "News" TV show. The results are disturbing as well as pointless.

I've heard his radio show. It's decent. He takes no prisoners, so to speak.

Colmes is a funny guy - he works, goes home, and cooks for his wife, and smiles doing it, and tells little jokes.

Who cares? He's just another overpaid hack that will do anything for a check. Just look at Olbermann.

Colmes is a Fox stooge, maintaining the charade that Fox is somehow "Fair and Balanced." His favorite thing to say is: "And now, over to you, Sean." Hannity personally selected Colmes for the eponymous "Hannity and Colmes" show. It is for Hannity as if debating a shoebox. Hannity does not debate anyway, he uses distortion, disinformation, character assassination. The whole Fox News network is a jaded exercise in mind control.

Colmes was not chosen because he is an adequate foil for Hannity from the opposite of the ideological spectrum....he was chosen because he looks like a mischievous weasel, to make liberals look bad
