Editor and Publisher:

Sunday's "anti-endorsement" of Mitt Romney in the Concord (N.H.) Monitor, which called him a "phony" who must "surely must be stopped," has sparked a sharp rebuttal from the Romney campaign in the form of a column the Monitor published in today's paper.

The opinion piece, penned by Bruce Keough, Romney's New Hampshire state chairman, states: "While the Monitor is entitled to its editorial opinion, the personal nature of its attack on Gov. Romney is a radical departure from the standard of civility that most New Hampshire people set for ourselves and which the Monitor, in the past, has attempted to honor."

Here's an anti-endorsement: I don't vote for any candidates who follow false prophets; and that means you, Romney.

Talk about being a hypocrite - complaining about the "personal nature of their attacks" while he is the currently running negative ads against 3 of his opponents - Huckabee, McCain, and Clinton. It's an opionion piece, not a news story - if you can't stand the heat...

"radical departure from the standard of civility" Really? Really? Don't you just love it when these lying hypocrites feign indignation when the very slimeball tactics they employ are aimed at them?

Be careful, Romney is a Nazi.

It's remarkable that the Romney camp would be shocked over how "uncivil" the editorial was towards Willard. But why is it that Romney can run as a "sensible moderate" in Massachusetts, as as soon as he wins, goes on to demean Massachusetts and it's citizens at every speaking engagement and speech, when addressing conservatives in conservative states. If he claimed to be a moderate in the election, why was he sucking up to conservatives after the election? I guess that makes him a phony.

Wow! I don't recall hearing about a paper doing this before now. There must be other examples.

A phony who must surely be stopped? That might just as well apply to any of the Republican Candidates.
