Rugy Giuliani Oxycotin

NY Times:

In western Virginia, far from the limelight, United States Attorney John L. Brownlee found himself on the telephone last year with a political and legal superstar, Rudolph W. Giuliani.

For years, Mr. Brownlee and his small team had been building a case that the maker of the painkiller OxyContin had misled the public when it claimed the drug was less prone to abuse than competing narcotics. The drug was believed to be a factor in hundreds of deaths involving its abuse.

Hey I found a word for bush and co behavior but it also suit Rudy Patootie, opprobrium.
It means 1 Something that brings disgrace 2 public disgrace or ill fame that follows from conduct considered grossly wrong or vicious...look it up. Rudy and his lawyer company has done a whole lotta bad and has represented a whole lotta bad bad people and he will learn you cannot hide this kind of crap.

This story should be getting much more coverage.
The trial convicted three executives for false advertising to doctors and never explained how
the illegal channels got stuffed with this companies drug from coast to coast and caused many deaths.

I wonder how people like this can live with themselves, knowing that this drug is related to the deaths of many young people. Simply put, Rudy has blood on his hands and could give a rat's ass as long as there is a buck to be made.

Rudy is so disgusting I personally believe the best way to deal with him would be to stop reporting on him all together. Since that isn't likely to happen Batshit will receive more press and in the mean time hopefully implode on his own.

Purdue's "legal team" went over Brownlee's head to his superiors to get him to back off? Was this rudy's idea? Who gets to do that?? Oh, that's right, the rich and supposedly influential.

As president, can you imagine what he'd do to the US Attorney's office as payback? Come to think of it, the more news stories like this will hopefully prevent him from becoming president!

schmuck...

God forbid Rush should have his easy supply of OxyContin cut off. I guess you might even say that Rudy was Rush's supplier. Those Republicans sure stick together.

JulieAnnie is an awful person but this is just silly.Oxycodone is equal to morphine, it is semi-synthetic.
Oxycodone, which is the ingredient in Percocet, Tylox and Oxycontin is an opiate. Oxycontin is a time released version of this.
Opiates are non-toxic to the body but they are very addictive.
People die from ODs more frequently when drugs are illegal.
If Naloxone, a narcotic antagonist, were available ODs would be much less.
An average of 18,000 people die each year from stairway related accidents...should we ban stairs?
Opiates used to be known as G.O.M., gods own medicine because of the relief from unbearable pain that these substances give to people.
Oxycontin and other opiates are a blessing to people who cannot live, who actually want to die, because they suffer every second with terrible pain.
