More anti-Hillary drivel from HuffPost. They are looking more and more like Fox "News" with their "fair and balanced" spin. I for one am tired of the favoritism shown toward the ultimately unelectable candidate Obama. Sorry Arianna but I get the feeling that you may have have supported Ralph Nader in 2000.

The more I think about this slight story the more I come to believe that it is a tell(like in poker) about the Clintons.

Either Chelsea Clinton is forbidden by her mother and her mother's campaign from speaking because Hillary Clinton is so controlling and secretive that only the official line is allowed to be spoken by her press-hacks or else it might be that her own mother does not trust her own daughter, an obviously intelligent woman who graduated from Stanford, to represent her fairly in the press(though to be fair to her mother, Chelsea did not demonstrate the kind of press skill needed to finesse the question from the 9-year-old reporter).

Otherwise, the other possibility is that while Chelsea Clinton goes up ON STAGE and is therefore part of the political performance and is in fact part of her mother's political campaign, she is aloof and elitist in feeling that she does not have to follow the normal rules and protocols for campaigns: dealing with the press(the press is a part of any political performance).

Why doesn't Chelsea answer questions from the press that any other Campaign-offspring would be expected to answer? She does whatever she wants because she can get away with it. She may be expected to answer questions, but she doesn't, because unlike other candidate's adult children on the campaign-trail she can get away with it. It sounds like 'The Decider' now in the White House--"to hell with rules and reason, I will do what I want, when I want, because I can!"

The tells from this story may be that Hillary Clinton is as secretive and controlling as Bush, or that she is paranoid and does not trust her own daughter, or that all the Clintons think that they are above the rules that govern the rest of us and can do what they want regardless, just because they can. None of these possible tells recommend Hillary Clinton as a candidate.

I think picking on the children of politicians is petty and a waste of time. I am not a Hillary fan but her parenting brought up a smart young woman. It also shows that while Hillary would want other peoples children to go to some lib infested rat hole public school, HER kid went to private school. A good choice. Do as I say not as I do.

I'm not a Clinton supporter, but they did raise a very classy young lady. The dregs of society have never been able to attack Chelsea Clinton on her character. They've always had to resort to cruel and petty personal attacks. This child of the White house didn't make the public suffer through the typical, obnoxious, rebellious stage that we've come to know so well. Chelsea Clinton might be okay with herself, and that seems to really bother a lot of people.

This whole story and about half of the vile filled replies here are both insance. Everybody needs to grow up here. Seriously.
