Does anyone remember what this nut-case said God told him last year at this time....

In what has become an annual tradition of prognostications, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson said Tuesday God has told him that a terrorist attack on the United States would result in "mass killing" late in 2007.

"I'm not necessarily saying it's going to be nuclear," he said during his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network. "The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."

Gee, you would think someone with a direct line to God would get it right 100% of the time.

Quite a prediction and he endorsed Guiliani too! WOW.

I remember - not that long ago-when this kind of fanaticism used to be called "religious cults". Did you read in Bill Maher's piece that in an AP poll 25% thought that Jesus would come back this year? 25%?!

Having faith is good- becoming completely divorced from reality- not so much.

Substitute the word 'God' with 'Universal Laws'and viola! you have a universal god that make sense. Universal Laws such as law of physics etc.. has no creator.
Example if you pray between now and tomorrow 10 thousand times to your god that you will not die if you jump down say from the top of Empire State Building there is a 110percent chance that he will not listen to you. Neither will gravity. Got it?
If you go against god's wishes (law of gravity) chances are you will suffer. Got it?
God is Omnipresent so is Universal Laws e.g. when matter in space spins and clumps together with a magnetic core gravity will be present. You should get this.
You can substitute law of gravity with another Universal Law.

What GOD do you believe in?

-A god that existed before the Big Bang and who is expressed by the fabric and creation of the dreamworld we call the universe?
-A god that exists outside of and independent of our universe?

What GOD do you believe in?

Pat Robertson actually gets better at exposing the stupidity of the religious fundamentalists the older and "wiser" he gets. Thanks for covering the old guy. While little more than a piece of animated beef jerkey he sure is amusing.

I'm always amazed at how many men (and women) claim to know the mind of God. And even more amazed at how many folks believe them. If you're a good singer it's a great way to make a very very comfortable living.

Hasn't he been saying for the past few years since Katrina that God told him that He was going to punish us with devastating hurricanes? Like that was a huge stretch to "predict" devastating hurricanes after Katrina. Too bad for PR we didn't get any devastating hurricanes in the South East since Katrina. You'd think that PR would get tired of being lied to all of the time!

So Robertson and Gouliani mutually agree that KILLING communism is no longer as imperative as KILLING Islamism?
