Bush spokesman Tony Fratto discussed the Iowa Caucus results with the press corps today.

With the Huckabee and Obama victories being widely viewed as votes for change, Fratto was asked if the results should be interpreted as a sign that Americans are expressing fatigue with the President and his administration.

"No, I think it's an election season [and] people are ready for -- to get on," Fratto said of the natural transition of power.

"It's good to see change in this job and the way we do it, especially if you put it in to the context of some of the troublesome transitions of power that we see happen in other countries," added Fratto. "We sort of take it for granted the way we do it. We have very competitive, hardly-fought election campaigns and graceful, peaceful transitions of power."

Read how Bush's spokeswoman Dana Perino said Thursday that he would not be watching the caucus returns because it was past his bedtime.

Trickle-down-economics, GOP fear and loathing, neocon arrogance;
hell yes, America is tired of all the Bushit!!

In fact, the business friendly and centrist administration of the Clinton's
is seen as so last century by many.

The Crusade for Muslim Resources and perpetual war is also something
Americans will be voting against as we did in 2006.

Translation: Up is down. Black is white. Cold is hot. Wrong is right.

The thought of another year of this BS is exhausting.

To bad Bush and Company weren't capable of change while they were in office! Maybe this country would be such a mess if he had the ability to accurately assess his failures. But, let's face it the man isn't capable of the simplest self-assessment! He doesn't see his failures as failures. So, it's easy to keep on the same wrong path when you don't have the ability to see what's in front of your nose. So the revisionist's have their work cut out for them trying to portray him as a great President! There are far to many books and article's out there to attest to his utter incompetence. That's why the average Bush supporter doesn't have the excuse that they didn't know what he was. Because the evidence is there if any of them cared to take a good look.

Don't get to relaxed, he only has a year left but there are others out there that will pick up where he left off........ I don't see how they could win, BUT, I didn't see how Bush could win, at least the second time, BUT, he did... if any Republican other than Ron Paul wins then I know this country is done.

I can't wait for Dumbya to experience a little change too. Say, a change of residence from the oval office to a nice cozy prison cell.

At the end of Bush's second exhausting term, one has to ask how did he manage to get away with it all? He spread terrible lies about McCain in the primary, then stole the election from Gore. His military record or financial dealings at Harken Energy were left alone by the press. He slept until 9/11 and then steered the country viciously to the right, using the tragedy to win elections. He waged an unwinnable war in Iraq with make-belief assertions. Then he decimated the Justice Department and dismantled our civil liberties, while explaining he was the "freedom president." How can one seemingly simple-minded, uninterested, uninformed man accomplish so much negativity in just eight short years?

Now far right revisionists are saying he was a great president because we did not suffer a second terrorist attack. Only Bush can be great in regard to a negative. Bush is and was a disaster. A 30% approval rating is not an unfortunate enough legacy for him, he should be in jail. Where is the justice? How can such a rube as George Bush decimate our system of checks and balances and then simply walk away?

i wonder if White House knows about it's "herros"? This clever blogger keept my comment, so that i went here, becouse he's shy and I have to attract public attention myself.

Lionel Beehner,

(putting the disgusting reaction under the pressure, may i call you simply "russofob"?)

Everything is clear with your IQ, getting place beyond the low frontier. So that i've got a question and a notice:
*) Where the "mexovaya chopka" exists? I bet all russians'd wished to look at such an extreme wonder of the world, becouse wearing the FUR (if you meant the fur of course, becouse there isn't even such russian words.) is the sign of backwardness here and you can't see anyone wearing fur who respect itself.
*) I guess it's strange, you write to huffington all this ugly things instead of sending your letters from the place, holding people with the same behaviour as yours. Who suffer from idea of international difference. You must be sure that your "mexovaya chopka", talking durty incorrect language would be chopped down there and become the food for service dogs.

Russia.

Actually, Tony, many of us are ready for a war crimes trial at the Hague, and, if it's in the cards, a legally-sanctioned necktie party.

Wonder if the sociopathic turd would handle it as well as did Saddam.

Gruesome? You pathological fucks can take credit for that, too... you've desensitized the American people to unwarranted mass death and injury. It even sneaks up on me now and then, to my chagrin, but I check myself (after briefly relishing the image of that trap being sprung).
