I agree, I think it is a "repudiation" considering she had frontrunner status and spent a shitload of money in Iowa.
Very classy of him not to congratulate the winner.
Nice to see Edwards stealing Obama's touchstones. Obama: 'The fierce urgency of now (MLKing). Edwards:'Your time is now'. The difference in the phrases speak volumes about the differences in the candidates. One is chasing a dream through power of hope. One is struggling, years later, to find the 'right' message that 'works'.
Unfortunately, if it's a repudiation of
Hillary Clinton, then it's also of John Edwards.
As it happens, I don't think it's a repudiation
of either. It's more a sign of Obama's charisma
& some shrewd tactics.
Although you have to wonder about HRC's appeal
mainly to elderly voters. What is with that?
He only beat her by .25 of a percentage point. A repudiation? Hardly.
