Alycia Lane, Feisty Philly Anchor, Fired

Alycia Lane, the feisty Philadelphia anchor who was arrested last month for fighting with a New York City cop, has been fired.

From CBS 3 (KYW-TV):

CBS 3 (KYW-TV) announced today that Alycia Lane has been released from her contract effective immediately.

CBS 3 President and General Manager Michael Colleran stated, "After assessing the overall impact of a series of incidents resulting from judgments she has made, we have concluded that it would be impossible for Alycia to continue to report the news as she, herself, has become the focus of so many news stories. We wish to make clear that we are not prejudging the outcome of the criminal case against Alycia that is pending in New York. We understand that Alycia expects to be fully vindicated in that proceeding. We hope that is the case and we wish her the best in all her future endeavors."

This is just the latest in the long saga involving Alycia Lane.

Previously, Lane attracted controversy over bikini photos she sent to NFL Network anchorman Rich Eisen. Playboy has also reportedly been considering an offer for Lane to pose naked in their magazine.

The Cops acted like bullies as they usually do and she gets fired.
In New York and Philly there have been many incidents where a citizen is filming cop activity and the citizen is bullied , threatened, beaten and arrested.
This story is about the outrageous behavior of most law enforcement people, not about some TV personality.

Where's the proof? Where are the bikini photos? And do you believe a cop over a news anchor? I know bot cops and anchors are notorious liars, but gee would you hit a cop and think you'd get away with it? The NY cops are well known for their antagonistic policing.
